Great value
I chose this hotel for the price and the fridge/microwave in the room. The room was clean & efficient. I arrived early (before noon) but couldn't check in until about 2pm. There was no real lobby waiting area. It looked closer to the Moscone Center on the map, but was about 30 minutes away (walking at brisk NYC pace). On the 3rd day, I was informed that the bus at the corner would put me near the Moscone Center. This became my primary mode of transportation for the duration of my stay except late at night when I took a cab instead. I would stay here again.

Days Inn
This is my second stay at this Day's Inn. I always enjoy my stay here. The price is good, the location is good and it's very quiet at night every time I stay. The staff and maids aren't friendly at all, but I don't stay for that reason so it's not important. The rooms are clean and smell fresh. What I really like is that Day's Inn has a refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker included in every room free! One thing I wish they had, which every other hotel I've stayed in has, is a safe to lock up valuables when I'm out for the day. I will definitely stay here again!

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
The Double Decker attached to the Day's Inn hotel has fantastic burgers, fries, onion rings and more. They even have beer and wine. It's tiny, but close and good food if you want something quick.

Great and affordable hotel
This hotel was close to downtown San Francisco. It was clean and had prefect basic continental. And it was affordable, relative to the other hotels downtown.

Days Inn, 465 Grove Street, San Francisco
This is the 4th time I've stayed in San Francisco, each time at a different hotel. Days Inn was everything I expected it to be. Clean, quiet, well lit outside for security, and surprisingly, the bed was super comfy! I've found it difficult to find hotels that offer a refrigerator and Days Inn includes this PLUS a microwave and coffeemaker! My only complaint would be that there was no safe in the room, as there has been at all other hotels and I usually do lock up extra cash, etc. while I'm out sightseeing, but I ended up taking it all with me each time. I will definitely stay here again! Very satisfied!

Good value
Staff were helpful with food and travel suggestions, and were very accomodating to help with luggage that the airline lost. Shower curtain was moldy and ripped, other than that the room was clean and in good repair

Great location and clean room
The room was spacious and clean. One catch: from early evening to 7am the "front desk" is served from an outdoor window with a bell which wakes up the staff, but I was able to get service that way at both 2am and 6am, so this was a workable system.

close to bus stop
We went to SF for our honeymoon. They put us in a handicapped room which was not good for my husband who is 6'3. The shower head barely reached his knees. The bathroom was almost as big as the bedroom, which would have been great if we needed the space for a wheelchair, however we are not handicapped and so the room was very small. One of the hotel staff was super nice and answered all of our questions and gave us directions and a map. The continental breakfast orange juice machine was broken the whole time and the coffee machine broken on our last day there.

Not bad for the $$$$$!
San Francisco is so pricey and for $200 a night is not cheap but for this weekend it was. Figured it would be lousey but pleasantly surprised. Nice area for the money. Room was large and clean. Never heard a peep from anyone. Beds were comfy. Bathroom clean and shower even worked. Free parking. Not bad.

Great Hotel and Price
Pros: Clean rooms, Comfy bed/sheets/pillows, Helpful and Friendly Staff, Good Continental Breakfast, Price, Free Parking, Near everything. Restaurants are walking distance, safe environment. Cons: Parking limited - if you come in after 6pm you will probably lose a spot.

great getaway
The room was really nice and clean everyday, except 1 evening late, and we got back to our room the room was not made up, trash not emptied and no towels. The crazy thing was that someone was in there and took all are dirty towels, but that was it.I had to go down to front desk to get our towels. Other then that, very nice.
