Nice safe place
The owners are very kind and friendly. The location is excellent for the zoo or as in my case visiting my ill father at the Veteran's Hospital. The room is a wonderful value, good size room, fridge, microwave and coffee maker as well as a continental breakfast. The owners were also accommodating with me having a late check out and early arrival so I could maximize my visiting time with my father. I will most defiantly stay in this Days Inn again, and I have already recommended it to my friends. If you have a family member in the VA hospital this is a perfect place to stay.

SF weekend
We have stayed at this hotel before. It's in a great, central location and very quite. We like that it has off-street parking and they don't charge extra for it. Though the room is clean, it could use updating. The bed is not comfortable. We tried to open the window, but the stops were broken and it wouldn't stay open. We then tried the air conditioner, and it had such an awful smell, we turned it off. All in all, it's a good place to stay, if you're not too picky and are looking for a reasonable place to stay that is conveniently located.

Days Inn at the Beach
Easy check-in and check-out with access to get around the city. The free parking alone made this hotel worth it.

Golf Tourney
Had a 3 night stay as I was participating in Golf Tourney at Harding Park and Lincoln Park. Nice hotel. Clean easy access to the Ocean and both golf courses. Price was right and included underground parking( a bit tight ). Will stay there again

Not the Cleanest...
The front-desk people were very cordial. However, when my family and I entered our room, three bathroom hand towels had stains on them. Then we also found stains on a sheet and blanket. The bathroom was nice, until we looked under the bath mat in the tub. It was filled with mold. Even though there was free parking it was very cramped. This was probably one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in.

Great Escape
Stayed here before, liked it.Spectacular weather.Hotel isnt fancy, parking cramped, but location is everything here.Staff are super nice and accomadating.Across the street from the zoo, beach, and food options(i recommend the deli in the liquor store next door). Also our room was on the street, but it was pretty quiet at night. Always a plus.We give it a thumbs up to anyone not looking for something snobby or outrageous.

Coming from 101 south, you take 280 Daly City and then Ocean to Sloat. Hotel is at the end of Sloat. If you have been to SF, you know driving through town can be a nightmare. This was painless, and without all the traffic.Easy to access The Cliffhouse,The Beach Chalet brewpub and restaraunt,Golden Gate park and bridge, Exploratorium, and even Pier 39 from the hotel by way of The Great Highway, just a block from the hotel.Awesome pocket map available for free at front desk.

Great stay!
This hotel was conveniently located. My boyfriend and I were able to walk to the SF Zoo and Ocean Beach! There is a bus stop across the street that has a bus that takes you to the mall.. and you can transfer from there to anywhere in SF really. The L Line on the Muni stops about 2 blocks away so that was also very convenient! During some evenings, you could smell weed in the hallway, but other than that, this place was awesome. Free breakfast, very accommodating staff, and everything was very clean. The room was the perfect size, and the bathroom wasn't cramped at all. Oh, and the heater worked perfectly. :) I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and I would stay here again.

Nothing fancy but acceptable.
I had some business to conduct with the San Francisco Zoo so this was a very convenient location. For a night stay, it was acceptable. Nothing fancy. The room was clean. The only thing was I had to jiggle the toilet flush and open the commode to connect one of the rods but no big deal. The room rate is high for the quality but then it is San Fran.

Better than most budget SF hotels
Pretty good for an SF hotel. Run of the mill variety for a days inn but close to the great hwy, zoo, and the beach. Creature comforts were standard, parking was a little tight (leave your F250s at home) but doable. The AC sucked, and breakfast was a joke (a few things on a table in the hallway). Otherwise, decent hotel for the price.
