NOT as Advertised!!!
Well' lets just say its NOT like advertised. There were NO Amenities. Were expecting a hair dryer, iron & ironing board but none there. There wasn't even a closet or rack to hang your coat. Parking Lot is 1st come first serve & limited to say the least which was a major reason for booking the hotel. When we checked in we were told we could have extra towels when they finished washing them. There was NO ice machine and the front desk was rationing ice in small bags. Later in the evening when asked again for extra towels we were told that only one towel per person!! Didn't even take into consideration the fact that we had 2 women with long hair. Room was also booked as a SMOKING room but when asked for an ashtray was told that the entire hotel is non-smoking. The morning paper & coffee advertised were also non-existent!! Although the beds were comfortable, only 1 had fitted sheets. Past repairs & remodeling of our room were not done in a professional or workman-like manner. Hotel Staff was at best RUDE....and did not make us feel like they appreciated our business! We normally stay in this particular part of town & will not be back to this hotel again, nor would I recommmend it to anyone I know!!!

We had dinner at Rocco's Cafe (located at 1131 Folsom Street, between 7th & 8th in the SOMA). The food was fabulous & the staff was attentive & friendly. Highly recommend dinning here.

Staff was unfriendly. Also under staffed only one person in the office. Didn't answer the phone EVER. rooms were very small and the. Building was not secure. There were bums getting high eight outside out window. Very easy could of came on the hotel property. Besides that it was right in the middle of all the good stuff easy to get around. But I next time ans going to spend the extra $200cash to stay somewhere nicer. Didn't feel I got my moneys worth. Might as well stayed at a

Not a nice place
There were no closets in my room, nowhere to hang clothes, no iron as advertised, no hair dryer as advertised, no toilet paper holder (roll was on floor), no place to put a suitcase, the baseboards were missing from all walls, drywall was crumbling, only 1 towel for two people, this place was TERRIBLE and the staff was no help at all. Went downstairs to get a soda and the ice machine as well as the soda machine was locked up behind iron bars - the night clerk did not have a key. Stay away from this place as far as you can!!!

Take this place off your list!
This place is terrible! No closet or dresser to put any clothes - not even a clothes bar to hang anything. Pillows were as flat as could be, elevator smelled like urine, would not go out at night in that neighborhood alone, only one really worn hand towel, no remote for the TV, well, you get the idea...I would recommend you take this establishment off your list of available hotels.

OMG!!!
In a word: scary. The location is in a scary part of downtown. The elevator smelled like urine. Rooms were tiny with holes in the walls, beds hard, pillows like bricks, very noisy, walls thin so you can hear everyone else, toilet paper sitting on an old vanity in bathroom. No toilet paper holder, water damage in tiles, the free wireless internet was unuseable and pathetic, found an empty vodka bottle under the bed. Paid for three nights, walked away after one night with no refund. Do yourself a favor and not stay there:(

quick junket
Stayed as part of a weekend trip to get my daughter settled in for an intensive dance program. We needed an economical place to stay. The staff at check-in was very friendly. Room was clean and about what I expected. Was surprised, though, that there was no place in the room for hanging up jackets or clothes. The spout in the bath tub was missing the valve to activate the shower.

The walk from the hotel to Union Square shopping is about 10 minutes and enjoyable for someone who likes to look at the architecture of a city.

Be Warned
I was very wary of staying here in the first place and once I arrived I found out my instincts were correct. The rooms were run down, there were cigarette burns in almost everything. I kept thinking if i should cut my loss and book someplace else. The staff was extremely rude, when asked for washcloths at 7pm the attendant asked why couldn't it wait until the morning. While there is parking, there isn't enough spots for everyone. I ended up getting a street cleaning ticket because I had to park on the street, so don't let the free parking fool you. The area is also very run down and full of homeless drug addicts.

The best thing was that we were able to eat at this great French Soul Food Restaurant called Brenda's. It was one of the highlights of my visit to San Francisco. there was also this very tasty Thai restaurant right across the street,

Avoid yhis hotel
0 Star rating. This hotel was terrible. The shower did not work, there were holes in the walls, and there was cockroach in the room. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Maybe if they lowered their price to $20 a night, but anymore is a ripoff.
