Tuscan inn Fishermans wharf
Stayed in the heart of it all ! Only thing missing was a in room microwave. Fast friendly service . Parked car under hotel , valet in 15 min notice ! awesome. Stayed for 49ers game, 25 min from hotel. Walk to the wharf , 2 blocks! The feeling of home sweet home and SAFETY ! THANK YOU TUSCAN INN ! Mike and Michelle

Long Weekend Getaway
Location was was perfect in that you could walk to any location in the Wharf area that you wanted. Street noise was there but you are in a big city and that is to be expected. We were able to sleep like babies so it did not bother us at all. The wine happy hour was a big plus when we mentioned this to a couple that was staying in another hotel they mentioned they were in the wrong place. Will be honest in that when it said Best Western I was concerned but my worries were put to rest after checking in and getting to the room. If you are going to San Fran and want to stay in the Wharf area look no more this is the place.

good location
Two nights, all fine... good for walking to Alcatraz Pier 33, cable car terminus, Fisherman's Wharf. Free wine reception is a disappointment, no big deal... better tip is to buy some nice wine to enjoy on your own. Shops are close.

Emerald Bay Lady
Perfect Place for fun!
Oh my goodness, it was so nice! Perfect location to have all the fun you wanted in a week. We were just two blocks off of Fisherman's Wharf and a couple of blocks down from Pier 39 where all the action is. We walked to everything. The room was very clean and the bed was ok except for a spring that kept my husband awake for two nights. The hotel fixed it with a plush mattress cover and we slept great the rest of the trip. The staff were so helpful and so nice. I would recommend and have recommended my friends to stay at this hotel.

Get to know the transit system. It can make a difference in your stay. Cable cars are great ways to get to all the things you want to see. Buy 3 day or week Muni transportation passes. You can ride any of the Muni travel systems on it. Bring coat or jacket and wear layers for cold weather.

Our experience was terrific. The staff was very helpful. The location could not be better, within walking distance to Fishermans Wharf, a supermarket and bus stop across the street. Our concierge gave us some helpful hints as far as the safe areas to visit. We cant wait to visit again.

Great Vacation
This hotel is 1st class, excellent location and a fantastic resturant. The staff was exceptional and very helpfull with any questions and request we had. Also you cannot beat the wine tasting in each afternoon from 5 to 6 pm. Would stay there again.

Third visit to San Francisco
This was our third trip to San Francisco. We have stayed at Tuscan Inn each time. We have always been happy with the hotel and the staff. The location is great for going to the Wharf and Pier 39. There are numerous food options from corporate to family owned eateries.So much too see, so little time. We highly recommend the tour buses on your first day or two to see all of the city without the hassel of the driving - very enjoyable - learn a lot of history about San Francisco from the guides.
