Americas Best Value Inn Extended Stay

The staff was very friendly but the hotel is a very old hotel and the rooms are small. But it was cheap. And they dont have parking for free.

If I had known that the hotel was under remodel, I would not have booked the stay. I believe that the remodeling disturbs other entities in the building which made the stay very uncomfortable. The hotel charged for parking on a daily basis, according to the advertisement there was free parking. Depending on where we were coming from the city it was not an easy location to get to. There was no house phone in the room and I had to use my own cell to call the front desk to have my vehicle in front since and ready for me. Not having parking was very inconvenient. The bathroom was dirty especially the corners because all the dirt and dust collected. The staff were not very friendly at all. I was very upset with the total experience with the stay. This is the first time I actually used a website to book hoping it would help but I think I am better off going to the actual sites of the places I plan on staying and booking there.

Located in great part of the City. However, to much noise outside. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Walls were DIRTY, acumulation of dust was THICK on the ceiling fan (I was afraid to turn it on, even tho the room was warm). Mildew in shower grout, hole in wall.

No parking, prepare to search. Close to local transportation. The Bart was convenient. Farmers market is just across the street. This hotel was old and needed a good cleaning. It is good if you need a place to sleep and take a shower with shower shoes. If you are picky you should bring your own blankets and pillows.

I thought the Abigail was totally cute. I was there for ten days, the hotel staff was pretty nice, though one one staff in particular was ALWAYS helpfull and VERY friendly. Anytime I needed directions or any questions about the city, he was very helpfull. My friends who live in San Francisco and saw the room and hotel were also really impressed ESPECIALLY with the price. I reccommended the Abigail to a few friends and their other friends who travel to San Fran and I DEFINATELY would stay at The Abigail again. The only thing is that the location is just a few blocks from the area which may make some people feel a little uncomfortable, but...its ALSO like, just a block or two away from the Civic Center, and the San Fran Library, so I found it's locale to be very ideal.
