It depends on what you want from a hotel..... the room is veryyyyyy small.... at night there are alot of noises from outside (drunk and homeless people as well as trucks and cars) the location is good, you just walk 10 min to union sq... the breakfast is HORRIBLE....... right in front of the recieption, they set up 2 tables......... on the other hand, the bathroom is clean enough, no complain about that.... the price is good, if u can`t afford a better one, its ok to stay for 1,or 2 nights...

funfewdays

The hotel is in the theater district and was easy access to the trolley and other transportation. We found it clean, comfortable and great for a quick weekend. We also found the neighborhood to be rather seedy and do not recommend nightly walks. We did our sightseeing during the days and returned early to avoid any problems. We went to Union Square for shopping and Fisherman's Wharf for dining.

Great for what we wanted

we wanted a decent hotel in a safe neighborhood that was close to the club we were going to and all on a budget. It was decently priced considering it's SF. It's right next to a bar and a delicious pizza place. The bathroom was bigger than I expected it to be and the staff was friendly and helpful. There was a continental breakfast with the basics (muffins, toast, coffee & juice) and free wi fi was sweet. Only down falls: Tiny elevator, 3people max. Valet parking took 20mins to bring our car back, so call the front desk ahead of time. Parking is $30 for a "normal" sized car and $35 for an "over sized" car per night. Overall I would go again

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

This pizza place is only a few feet away from the hotel entrance and was fantastic. A little on the pricey side, I paid $23 for 3 slices of pizza and 2 bottled water. Probably would have been better off getting a whole pizza. But the slices were huge and so fresh from the oven we burned the roofs of our mouths. Absolutely delicious though!
