Intimate hotel located near Mission Bay with pool
The Wyndham Garden San Diego is located within a short drive of Sea World, Mission Bay and just about every other attraction north of downtown San Diego. The property features a heated outdoor pool and hot tub with a large sundeck, as well as Dupar's, a 24-hour restaurant on-site. Visiting children will love the suites with bunk beds. - The room offers two double beds and one sofa bed. These newly renovated smartly laid out hotel suites have a separate living room and bedroom with two double beds, plus one full bathroom. The hotel think having an extra room is a great option when little ones need to take a nap or if you are entertaining clients. We have stayed at this Wyndham several times before,the staff always remembers us like we are old friends.Having a restaurant attached to Hotel is wonderful especially when in need of coffee or early breakfast.Great value for price,located close to all freeways and downtown.Nice pool and hot tub,needs a little updating and water softener towels hard as rocks.Having computors and printer in Lobby a plus.We will be back.

Good place to stay the night!!
I stayed for one night here. It was a business trip and I was by myself. I found it was a great location with downtown some miles south and countless of shopping malls and restaurants around. I thought it was a good value, but mostly for the business traveler or for the couple or family who plans to spend the day in town. Not really a "stay-and-enjoy-the-amenities-kind-of-place" if you know what I mean. I would really recommend it this place.

Hotel was fine, beds comfortable. Bathroom fan made noise but that was all it did. Bathroom smells lingered for hours literally as did shower humidity . Windows of room dripping with moisture, too too humid. Otherwise, great location. Also, my 80 year old parents needed shuttle to airport but were told that with MCRD graduation, their staff would be too busy to provide that service on. That day.

chill one night stay
stayed here for one night with my boyfriend after a long drive to San Diego. We got upgraded to a junior suite which was nice. The room was very clean. Its a great hotel if you're not planning to spend much time in there. I would def stay there again.

Parking was awful, very cramped and poorly laid out. People partying and arguing outside of room in the middle of the night. Beds were uncomfortable, jr suites were small and cramped. Room was clean. When I tried to call the hotel before arriving (4 different times), the phone rang for 20+ rings each time and was put on hold and the one answering was not helpful nor attentive. Definitely would not recommend it after this experience. The restaurant at the hotel is greatly overpriced and the food was greatly lacking in quality

Location is not very convenient
Overall hotel was clean and freshly painted from outside. Inside the room was a little moisture. It took about 20 min using room heater to remove the smell. Hotel was surrounded by many franchise places to eat. Not far from the historical and cultural center. But for the price we paid, it was good enough.
