Westin Gaslamp
Great service, friendly helpful people. Nice clean room. My only beef is that the internet was not free, other than that, great location very central and right next to the mall

Great location and very confortable
Perfect for business - reasonable size gym with no waiting required. Good size room and decent coffee. Bit annoying that internet is not provided free of charge at this quality of hotel.

Good location for parties and shopping
Not bad, but there were some questions to hotel stuff which was unable to find my delivery for more than 2 hours close to my check out. This made me a bit nervous and took extra 30 minutes on registration desk.

Great Getaway, Great Experience
The Westin was a wonderful experience especially when we were able to dine freely and locate all the atractions within a short distance of the hotel. Our two day vacation at the Westin felt like a month of relaxation and fun.

Great Location
Great location, but expensive parking- $32 overnight. That seemed to be the going rate for the area though. Short drive to the zoo(less than 10 mins) and other San Diego attractions, and it's right next to the mall and the nightlife area of the gaslamp district. They didn't have a king bedroom available even though that's what I booked, so I ended up with a double, but the beds were comfortable. Great blackout curtains that kept the light out if you're planning to sleep in. All in all, a good place to stay.

Great Place and Location
Hotel staff was top notch. Location was superb, the beds were among the best I've ever slept in. As a person that travels a bit, and likes to party but, also sleep at night and be able to stay with family (like the wedding I was attending,) the San Diego Westin Gaslamp, will be where I will stay next time I am in SD.

Excellent check-in and restaurant staff, but I am so annoyed by no free wifi anywhere in the hotel, not even in public areas. I know that the Gaslamp is a great tourism destination, but it's also close to the convention center, which means business travelers. I come every year for a business conference and I work, so I need it. I would not come back to the Westin, as nice as it was, because of this.

Westin Gaslamp, SanDiego- love it
Loved it. Awesome location; did not rent a car - no need. Everything was in walking distance and the public transit system was excellent; the rooms were spotless, loved the heavenly bed; tastefully decorated, perfect accomodations, friendly staff; in house starbucks, pool setting was comfortable (nice furniture, clean bathrooms. wished the pool was a little bigger, but compared to the other competition, it was fine.
