WONDERFUL

It was a wonderful visit! Right in the middle of it all in beautiful San Diego! Room was nice and had a good view of the city. Valet parking price ($32/night) was unexpected but begginers mistake.

Beautiful place to stay

We came to town for 3 days to watch the Giants play the Padres. This hotel is freshly remodeled & beautiful & within walking distance to Petco Park, a mall, a buss stop, many restaurants. There are a lot of sirens but your in the heart of the city so what do you expect? We didn't hear them late at night. The staff was very courteous. Housekeeping wasn't big on giving new lotions, shampoos, etc. when you used what you had. I had to ask for more at the front desk. I loved the mirror & the magnifying mirror in the bathroom. The lobby & guest rooms were beautiful & the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast service in the restaurant was a little slow. Although you have to pay for internet, you can print your boarding passes for free!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There are too many excellent restaurants and lounges to name. However, San Diego should kick the hooka lounges out of town or at least out of the restaurant area.

Fine visit

the hotel is very nice. Clean with a good sense of what guests need and require on an average weekend. Perhaps if I stayed longer I would find everything in superior quality too. The only thing that got to me was the noisy toliet! Wow! that thing makes loud noises when flushed. Will scare you to asprin if you weren't ready for it. But still a nice stay and a great visit!

vacation

It was a great location, but somewhat noisy at times. There were only a couple of small drawers to put your clothes so had to hang things up or live out of a suitcase. The $32 a day parking fee was a bit much when you still you felt you needed to tip the valet each time you took your car out. I would stay there again if the price was right.

Darn Near Perfect

Perfect location, great staff and great amenities. Only problem the bedding on one bed was soiled. Around 1am I pulled back the covers saw stuff, hair and holes in the sheet. I reported it to housekeeping, stayed up until 2am waiting for someone to come and remake the bed and no one came.

Good location

Nice experience. The only problem iss that they do not allow early check-in. I arrived at around 2pm and had to wait my room ready in the lobby until 3pm.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

patricks too is a cool irish bar with a patio just a few blocks away. eclectic bunch of locals (don't judge at first glance - hang out a while). cool place now, but was much better under prior ownership - new ownership is much less customer focused and has got rid of some great long-term staff, and hired some douchey ones.

Great location, very professional staff

Enjoyed the stay at the hotel. Rooms are clean. Too bad there was no iPhone charger in the room even though I was told the opposite. Staff was very helpful and professional. Overall it was a very nice hotel in a great location right next to the mall.
