Very good but room for improvement

Would recommend Wed, Dec 9, 2015
The room had a funny smell every afternoon...like stagnant air...but it went away. The shower stalls are pretty but NOT practical...the bathroom floor reliably gets soaked. They don't supply enough wash cloths...I typically refuse housekeeping services during my stay, but I only had 1 washcloth! It didn't last the entire week :-/ All that said, I would stay here again.

My favorite place to stay downtown

Would recommend Thu, Dec 3, 2015
It is nice and simple. Small rooms that are comfortable with good beds and free wifi. There are lots of ice little details like the dog biscuits at check in, the fun flooring in the elevator. You don't feel like you're in a chain hotel at all.

weekend get away

Would not recommend Tue, Dec 1, 2015
The location is very convenient for downtown, Little Italy , gaslight, shopping and civic center. Downside many homeless surrounding the hotel and streets around the hotel. The room was little bit on small side however clean and sufficient if your there to sleep/shower only. It's not a hotel room you can lounge in comfortably.

Would not recommend Tue, Nov 24, 2015
Almost everything about this place was not satisfactory though the prince and the outside looks very nice your sender find the staff and other situations very pleasing and the worst is the so-called resort fee for services not used yet I had to pay for it

Excellent very happy

Would recommend Sat, Nov 21, 2015
The concierge was very helpful. Location was terrific, as we needed to consider distance to Amtrak, Pier, Airport, and restaurants. Comfortable beds. Only one criticism: the toilets are too low.

Two nights for business

Would not recommend Thu, Nov 19, 2015
Night time staff were not extremely helpful, just chatting with each other. Day time staff are very professional n nice. The room looks great with nice furniture design, but the matress is old n dented toward the middle. Only a single towel is provided, n one day later the housekeeping took that away n forgot to replace the new one. The walls are thin n i can hear next door conversation, their tv n much more...noises. It is a good location at downtown n 15min walk to the center of gaslamp restaurants, but there are plenty of other hotels to choose from in the area.

Great location, nice hotel!

Would recommend Wed, Nov 11, 2015
I was only at the hotel one night and didn’t do much there, so I can’t speak to a broader experience at the hotel. The room I had was small, but comfortable, quiet, and very clean. The staff at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Although I didn’t eat at the restaurant, I had a few drinks at the bar and the staff there was friendly and helpful as well. The hotel is on the northern end of the Gaslamp area, and is well situated if you’re going to a show at the House of Blues. It was a short walk from the hotel to the harbor cruises and USS Midway. Will definitely look to this hotel again the next time I need to stay in downtown San Diego

Good, but not breakfast included.

Would recommend Thu, Nov 5, 2015
Nice place. Cons: 1. No breakfast included, you will have to go downstairs to the super expensive restaurant or search something affordable nearby. 2. The memory foam mattress was a killer for my back, and was providing extra heat, keeping me sweating all night. 3. The room was tiny, but there is nothing that they can do. It is the design.
