Mini Vacation
I booked this hotel because it was close to gaslamp and we were able to walk everywhere without much difficulty. Only things I would recommend is that the you ask if your room has all the amenities ours was missing the mini fridge and mini bar...a little disappointing but not a deal breaker.

Great hotel in a great location
The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very nice and within a few blocks of the gaslamp area. We even arrived early and were able to go ahead and checkin. We had a nice view of the city as well.

perfect for gaslamp district exploring
Fantastic view. The room was very pleasant with a sectioned off bedroom (by french doors) from the living/seating area. The living/seating area had a nice desk for hooking up a laptop computer. Excellent access to the gaslamp district. The hotel itself has a nice lounge for a nitecap and/or breakfast the next morning. Recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to explore the gaslamp district, which was within a 5 minute easy walk.

A Hotel is a Hotel
I was on a business trip. The bell boy was polite and helpful as were the hotel check in staff. Unfortunately, one very important necessity was my need for business services. The business service center was closed and the printer in the lobby did not work nor could I save a document so that it may be printed out at the concierge. I stayed a total of 5 days and I only received 1(one) day of room service. There was also a cot in my room. I called to have it removed and it was never removed. Parking was overpriced as was the water in the room. Nice pillows and nice beds. Couch was dirty. All food was very overpriced with an additional 3% fee and 21% service charge. Ridiculous. Far "cheaper" hotels include at least a continental breakfast. Some even provide free breakfast. Although, the chicken dinner was delicious that I ordered from room service.

Great Location, Close to everything
The staff was friendly and the hotel restaurant had wonderful food. The room was adequate for the price, although the mini bar/refrigerator was missing from our room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean and tidy upon check in. The hotel is located within a few blocks of the Gas Lamp District. The dining choices were unbelievable. Block after Block of restaurants. Anything you had a taste for. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, bad services
First thing i noticed was how parking is a joke. Its a spiral up 11 stories just to park (and 23 dollars a day to do so). Next, you have to pay 10 dollars a day for your in-room internet. Seriously, not too many hotels charge for that anymore. Room service food was good and brought promptly, however the selection is limited. About 5 lunch choices and 5 dinner choices. You get charged for every item u use in the in-room minibar. 4 dollars for a bottle of water, 5 dollars for a candy bar, etc. No hotel laundry service, dry clean only. Hotel staff are friendly and overall hotel is clean. Overall, its a clean hotel within good distance of downtown attractions, etc but is way overpriced and has substandard services.
