The Best Hotel I Have Ever Stayed In!
From my room, I looked out over the marina, in the distance was the airport, thinking I was too close to the airport (noise) but it never bothered me. The room was wonderful, the bed was very comfortable, the view was great... wish I could have stayed longer

Family Wedding and trip
We came to this hotel because we had a family wedding taking place there. The wedding was wonderful and it was great to stay in the same location. We were in the Bay Tower and it would have been nice if there was a little more right there. The staff was very pleasant, friendly and helpful but it was difficult to communicate with housekeeping because they barely spoke a single word of English. The rooms were spacious and nice. Wish it had been a little cleaner. I also wish that the A/C had worked better. I am sure they were conserving energy but it would get VERY warm in the room at night. Overall it was a very nice stay. The pool that we used was at the Marina building and was very nice. The staff there was also helpful and hanging at the pool and bar was very nice. Recommend breakfast at the marina in between the buildings,,,traveled in the summer and it was nice and reasonable to eat there. Would probably stay there again or maybe try something closer to downtown.

Short drive from hotel
Downtown San Diego is only about 12 minutes away. Good shopping, restaurants and night life are located there. Not much around the hotel but can take a walk/jog along the bay. The hotel is across from airport but sound was minimal unless you sat on your balcony.

Nice views
Nice location, pretty good rate. I was happy they gave us a room on the 8th floor, above the probably noisy parking lot. Great view of the bay. Good location. Just pricy parking at $22 a day. For that price, I'd expect a nice, covered parking structure, but it is just a parking lot.

Sheraton San Diego
From some of the negative reviews, I didn't expect much from this hotel. To my surprise, it was a great experience. The hotel is located next to S.D. Airport and right by the harbor so the view is excellent. It's close enough to downtown without the drama of being in the Gaslamp District. Upon checking in, the staff was professional and courteous. Within minutes, we were in our room having a drink on the balcony. The room and bathroom were an average size, clean with modern decor, flat lcd TV, comfy pillows, etc. Another great perk was that they have a Starbucks in the lobby. Parking is $22/night but that's pretty much standard and still cheaper than the ones in downtown S.D. Overall, I love Starwood Hotels and this one totally did not disappoint.
