don't go green at this place
Opted for going green, thought this meant that the towels and bedding would not be changed I was ok with that. The problem is they give you NO maid service if you do this, no trash taken out, no new coffee or shampoo in your room. They also would not take us of this and send a maid after repeated calls to the front desk. I will not use the this hotel again.

Fours days at the Sheraton
It was a nice an clean hotel. People could of been a bit friendlier.Had a blackout in San Diego the day after we arrived and they provided a buffet dinner that night. Charged us 16 $ for a movie we never watched. Parking was a bit expensive 22$. Charged us for 4 full days which we were not there for the whole time. They did credit the movie and one night to us.

1st Time to California
Great experience at this hotel. I would definitely stay again if we were to go back. Only downfall was that we had to pay $22/day for parking, but overall it was worth it to have the panoramic views of the marina right from our hotel's balcony!

Good one but expensive parking
Very good experience. Friendly staff and good restaurants. Little expensive but good food and gave good facilities when there was power outage through out san diego city. Only issue is very expensive parking. $22 for a day is too much.

Had a few issues...
Didn't realize we were staying at the Sheraton Bay Tower until we checked in at the Sheraton Marina Tower, but it was just a 5 min. walk away. I requested a roll-away bed when we checked in at 2pm and it was finally delievered to the room at 9:45pm after four more requests. The room was large and comfortable, with nice beds and linens. The Bay Tower pool is smaller than the one at the Marina Tower, but there's also less activity. Had to use taxis to get to most tourist spots - zoo, Sea World, downtown, etc., so I'd probably rent a car next time. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Two towers, two experiences
There are two towers at this hotel. The main one seemed quite busy, with lots of young families, Starbucks, restaurants and two busy pools that serve alcohol. The other tower, that I stayed in, was smaller, calmer and probably a bit older construction, nice views of the marina, and the pool was quiet (but no service). Something for everyone. Overall, an excellent room that was clean, and friendly staff. My one complaint would be the club lounge which ran out of things (i.e. coffee! on both days, knives, fruit) and they really should have had more staff to keep the tables clean. The location is close to the airport and downtown which was good. The shuttle doesn't go downtown though, and it's far from the beaches.

Sheraton Hotel and Marina
If we would have known before hand that the hotel would charge us $22 per day to park our vehicle and and that they would charge us $12 a day for an internet connection in our room, we would not have stayed there.

Nice Hotel
I've stayed here before on business travel. Always stayed above the 5th floor so that the view was very nice. This trip I was on the second floor overlooking the pool, blocked by trees. Not sure if it's because I booked through Orbitz or if I would have gotten the room anyway. Otherwise, nice hotel - good value. Good food.

Beautiful Harbor Views!
The hotel for the most part was perfect. There were a few minor hiccups here and there, but the staff was great, food was great, fitness room was far above average, and pool and hot-tub were very large and far quieter than most other hotels in town. The view and location were perfect. There is no beach at this hotel, but it is right on the water, and all tourist activities are only a very short taxi ride away. I would definitely stay here again!
