Customer Service Oriented Hotel
The Marriott San Diego Mission Valley was nice. The factor that made it most pleasurable was the staff of the hotel. From check-in to check-out, they were wanting to please. At check-in, I was assigned a room on a different floor from friends I was meeting. I inquired, and immediately the front desk put us on the same floor and next door to our friends room. In addition, I forgot my shaving kit. I called the front desk, and they quickly brought shaving creme and a razor to my room. Room Service was quick, and the food was awesome!!! Very tasty!!! The location was perfect and close to everything.

Sea World just 10-15 minutes away. The beach was also pretty close... a short drive away.

Very friendly
The Marriott was very nice. We were very satisfied with the room itself. It was very spacious, clean. The room had all the necessary things ie: hair dryer, iron, a roomy closet. It was perfect for getting on the trolley and going around San Diego. Our purpose for our stay was to go to the Charger vs Bronco game. It was very, very convenient and close to the the stadium. The view from our room was out of this world. It was absolutely gorgeous. The restaurant/bar was great. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends.

San Deigo Chargers Game
the trolley was located behind the hotel and took us right practically into the stadium. we also took the trolley to old town for a bite to eat before the game. very easy and inexpensive

Enjoyed the hotel, the staff and especially the bed and bedding...extremely comfortable.Very nice pool area. The staff was very courteous. The front desk staff helped us out with directions etc. It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel.If you want to be near downtown or the harbour then you may want to look for something else in that area otherwise definitely stay here it's very easy to get around via the commuter train. Short walk from hotel
Just a short walk from the hotel is the commuter train(trolley train). You can buy a day pass for $5 ride the train, transfer to buses, get off & on as much as you want. Stops at all of the sightseeing places. Fashion Valley Shopping mall is on the route which is a beautiful shopping area.

Fabulous Friendly Fun.....
We came to San Diego to visit our son and found this marvelous Marriott. The services were outstanding and it was so centrally located it made our travel experience and wonderful one. We were able to travel easily thorough out San Diego. It was also very close to my sons home which made this trip so much more enjoyable.

La Jolla Cove most beautiful and peaceful place ever about 20 min or less from san diego and you will not be disappointed. one of my favorite place to visit everytime i am in san diego

Good Stay
Hotel was great the trolly behind was very useful. Staff was asked where to find a store and they said there were none in walking distance when we were walking we saw one. A little uspet we went all the way down town for that when it was out our back door. One of the elevators was out and we were on the top floor so we had to wait a lot. the concierge room was fantastic the use of the lounge was great free breakfast and snack in the evening free soda and water too.

short walk to the trolly and don't be afraid to use it especially to the harbor the harbor cruiz is great and seaport village has wonderful shops and dinning.

GREAT
I've stayed in just about every hotel in San Diego. This was definitely in the top five. Rooms were great. The restaurant was nice. The only thing I didn't care about was the parking fee of $14 a night.
