San Diego Marriott La Jolla

overall the hotel is nice, when we got in the room was clean, but while we stayed they didn't clean thoughly (I think they clean only for new comers, if you stay there for a while they don't)...we have to ask for towels as well (not enough towels in the room). The room service closes at 11pm, so if get hungry you have to go out to look for stores. Their gift shop is barely has some stuff

I stayed there recently.I loved it!!! I will definitely go back.Very clean Rooms,Very Good service,Staff smiling at you,the only dowmside:No Wi-Fi in rooms,only in Lobby.It is a great hotel to stay in.

As a seasoned traveler with numerous Marriott stays with the Rewards program of over 330,000 points of stays since 1977, this was the very WORST experience/stay that I have ever had. [...]The UGLY: the rooms were noisy, next to the elevators for both rooms on different floors (requested same floor adjacent rooms when booked). Our toilet "sprayed/recoiled" water from the bowl to the seat numerous times during the stay when the toilet was NOT being flushed. No newspaper was delivered in the morning, but a request for one was made at check in time. Only one (1) creamer packet was in the coffee area with three (3) packs of coffee. Shower was sub standard--terrible water pressure. Extra towels were requested at booking time with [...], but that request did NOT follow the reservation. This experience is NOT acceptable. [...]

Wished that was told upfront that needed to pay $40 (two nights) for parking

Very clean very friendly. excellent deal especially with free buffet breakfast for two at their restaurant the night we stayed. only complaint would be that parking for the night is 20 dollars and that the doors are very thin which makes whatever is going on the hallway completely audible.

We spent 5 days at this hotel. The staff was great very helpful and attentive. the hotel is in a fantastic location. Great restaurants, bars and shopping all in walking distance. $20 a night for parking a little steep but goes with the territory. The rooms were a little small but very nice, clean and well kept. The views if you can get up near the top (18 floors) are worth it. Hint: free washers and dryers for guests on 3rd floor. Would have packed less had I known that was there.

Was there for a medical appointment in La Jolla. Room itself was nice and clean. Fitness center was pretty good and well stocked. Only drawbacks were no free internet (12.95/day) and it was slow at that, no wifi either. Food was also fairly pricy, but good nonetheless. Would have also been good to have a regular desk chair for working, rather than a lounge type chair in the room Staff was very nice and helpful

The beds are very comfortable. Walking distance to the mall and numerous eating establishments. By calling direct to the hotel I could have saved $8o per night! [...]

So pleased with the service we received! From the moment we checked in we always had friendly and accommodating staff to work with. Very family friendly! Everyone was so nice to our 17 month old son. A big hit was the toy bin so he could pick out some toys to bring with us to the beach. We also enjoyed having a room at the end of the hall by the ice machine so we didn't have anyone right next to us. Thanks for thinking of that when we checked in! It made us feel more comfortable and not so worried when he started crying. Things we loved: 1). La Jolla Shores - great beach 2). The San Diego Zoo and Sea World 3). Downtown La Jolla - great restaurant choices. 4). Great breakfast burrito at the hotel restaurant (4240). What we wish could change: 1). $20 parking per day!
