Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Mission Valley

Excellent stay. Everything was great except the parking. Original information showed free parking. $13.00 per night was a surprise.

The hotel was fantastic all around! The hotel staff were super friendly and even gave my husband and I a complimentary bottle of champagne for our honeymoon! They offered a deluxe breakfast buffet every day whih was great and offered anything you could think of. During the week they also offered complimentary beer and wine and dinner in the evening. Location was great, we had a rental car and we were able to get to everything in San Diego within 10 min. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Will definitely be on the lookout for other Residence by Marriott on our next vacation.

Staff excellent. Hotel condition and amenities great. Best selection of food for complimentary breakfast for any hotel I've stayed. Even complimentary dinners!! This hotel was ranked high when I did review and I agree. I would highly recommend this to everyone!

Went on a short trip to see the sites in San Diego. Could easily have stayed here for a week! Very comfortable, lots of room, quiet, staff was great, the other guests were friendly, close to all the sites, and attractions, and the price was good.

Very good location, close to the airport and Old Town San Diego. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. Close to zoo and other attractions. Only downside was $13 a day for parking. Large room with kitchen, great for 4 people.

Excellent location to Sea world. Free breakfast was also a big plus. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Staff was excellent.

We stayed for a week, I loved having the two rooms, my husband gets up early every day and the kids and I could sleep in without disturbance. The room and hallways were very quiet. The kitchen was also handy, bought cupcakes at Sprinkles and other snacks and they kept nicely. It sure beats having them in the usual small hotel fridge, and strewn around the room! We used the toaster and warmed up food in the microwave, the kitchen was spotless and nicely equipped. We liked the breakfast, my husband brought it back to the room every day and we ate there. The hotel halls and room smelled and looked pleasantly new & great water pressure in shower/lots of hot water. These two things are usually my pet peeves when we travel. We washed clothes 3 times, the laundry room was spotless. Staff very friendly and accommodating ~ and we are fussy!! We did pay for parking but the staff did not make us pay for the first night because we arrived after midnight, nor for 1 other night that we were up in Orange County visiting family. All these things will make me book at the same location next year. Would highly recommend for families!! Handy to downtown San Diego, Sea World, the mall, and to highways.

This was a great hotel for a family with 2 little ones sightseeing in San Diego. The room layout (bedroom and living/kitchen space) worked perfectly for nap time. Breakfast was filling and there's even a complimentary cocktail hour! Only complaint would be that the beds were too firm. Don't forget to take into consideration the $13 parking fee per day. Pretty standard in San Diego though. Overall great value.

We enjoyed all the ammenities this hotel had to offer. After a long day of walking and site seeing, it was relaxing to come and enjoy the jacuzzi! The staff were very nice and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was yummy!!!

The staff was outstanding. They were the ultimate in customer service and personality from the front desk, to the maintenance people, to the food service people, all top of the line. Food was very good , and they kept working at keeping it full. Only caveat there was noise and crowds, not a fault of the staff, just so many people in the food area. Outstanding hotel and I recommend to everyone.
