Not what I expect from Marriott
Me: Platinum Marriott Member, Stay over 100 nights a year in Marriott Properties Expectations: Quiet Room, Clean Room, Top Floor (so that there is no noise from the people above us) The Facts: First floor room with a soccer team above us (it was the regional championship games) Called ahead prior to making the reservation to ensure that the rooms are actually suites and that a door can be closed once the baby was put down so that we could sit in the other room and watch tv without waking the child. Was told that was the case. In reality, the doors that closed were sliding glass/wood doors that would not block any sound making it impossible to put the child down and watch tv in the other room without waking him. Very disappointing, would have sprung for a two bedroom suite if they actually had a closing door. Doors were slamming all night and people were running around the outside of the room screaming all night (yes all night -- at 2 am we actually opened the door and told people to be quiet) The crib was supposed to be set up upon arrival (even called to ensure that it would be earlier) and that was not done. They actually came once we arrived to set it up. We arrived late and really needed to get our nine month down asap since we pushed his bed time as is. Called the front desk to complain about the noise and was told that they have "groups" there and that they are sorry about the noise.... Said something would be done about it, but the noise persisted. Door did not close right, there was a cold draft under it all night. (did not mention this to the front desk, there was no point and it was just the icing on the cake) Upon check out I was offered some extra points to make up for the trouble, did not accept the extra points, not needed already have more points than I need. This was probably the worst Marriott hotel that I have ever stayed at. Would not go back.

Never again.
I've stayed at plenty of Marriotts before, this one was beyond disappointing. We stayed at the Residence Inn which was supposed to have a full kitchen. When we arrived, there was no oven... they had two burners, a microwave, a toaster, fridge and a dishwasher. They barely had any cookware. Only a big pot and 2 smaller sauce pans. No skillets and no strainers. They barely even had flatware. They had 4 forks, 4 soup spoon and 4 butterknives, that was it. For cooking, they had 2 spatulas and a two prong fork. It was very hard to make anything to eat in our room. Not only that, when I asked if there were any skillets and strainers available the person at the front desk gave me an attitude and told me they were still waiting for supplies. This was terrible. The cabinets were old. They didn't provide any dish washing soap or sponge... when I requested for it, I was only given the soap, they said the sponge would be brought to me the next day. The pool aread was small but fine, they had a tiny workout area with 4 outdated machines. The complimentary breakfast was ok, we had biscuits and gravy for 2 days straight and I was happy to see sausages and eggs for the next day. The maids were very nice, offered us cleaned towels and brought us extra blankets. This was a total disappointment for a marriott hotel, I will never stay here again.

Excellent stay!!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. This hotel was very clean, in a great location, staff was very courteous and helpful, amenities included more than we had expected including a laundry tennis court, basketball court, a game room for the kids, a fully equiped kitchen with pots and pans and utensils,a barbeque area and a very nice dining area. The breakast bar was very nice and had a great selection for the whole family. We would definately reccomend this hotel to our family and friends and we will definately visit again. It was a great choice and an amazing value!

Great hotel for us to land at while work was being done on our home. [...] found us a room located on the 1st floor with quick access to an area where we could walk the dog. Room was adequately clean but not a bit more than that - the lack of intense cleaning bothered my allergies but it was a minor annoyance.
