Too much for a business trip
Fantastic staff, beautiful place, excellent for a relaxing meeting. We were here for an all business meeting and were not able to utilize the pool or golf for lack of time. Felt the activity fee of $20 plus 10 for self parking was unnecessary. Internet was slow.

It was an amazing weekend. Absolutely
It was an amazing weekend. Absolutely beautiful location, facilities. Incredible place to get married! The only thing, when the booking the hotel online, they did not include Resort Fees. It all adds up! Apart from that had the best time. Golf Course is spectacular!

Great deal
This was a family mini vacation over Thanksgiving. Staff was very nice and pleasant. The Concierge was very helpful to find a beach and get us down toward Mission Beach area.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
We flew into San Diego airport and proceeded to the zoo, but did not want to eat at the zoo. So we took a turn into the local golf course and ate at the club house. This was and older establishment, but the burgers were a hit with my 4 kids (10-17). And the price was right and we had a lovely view of San Diego and the ocean. Couldn't beat it for the price/view and food and service. So before you take the left for the zoo, make a right and go up to the old style clubhouse at the golf course. You won't be disappointed. My kids wanted to come back and try breakfast!

Nice but not spectacular
My husband and I were staying for our anniversary. The hotel was nice, but despite their best efforts, the place still has a 70's vibe to it. The restaurants/bars are very expensive and you are far from any other dining options. A bit too remote for us. The staff was helpful and friendly. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Would recommend it for golfers and weddings....

Beautiful grounds. Extremely well maintained and creative gardens. Walls between rooms thin allowing noise next door. Staff was extremely supportive in changing rooms to a quiet location.

San Diego Wild Animal Park was a short drive. A great outing, with lots of walking. Many birds and chances to interact with the animals.

My review of Rancho Bernardo Inn - Golf & Spa Resort
Stayed here with friends for the Holiday Bowl. The hotel grounds and buildings are beautiful....even in the winter. We were moved three times before we got a room. Rooms are very nice. Spent a lovely New Year's Eve in the Veranda Restaurant enjoying a 5-star dinner. Will definitely stay again.

Great place to stay if you have time to stay and enjoy all the ammenities
My personal experience was of short duration. We checked in at 4PM, left the hotel at 4:30PM for a family gathering and didn't return back to around 11:30 PM. Up and out by 8:30 AM. This didn't leave much time for exploring the hotel and all that it had to offer. I will look forward to a return visit when we have time to enjoy all that this fine resort has to offer.

Great weekend getaway
The property was very beautiful. Our check-in was delayed several hours because according to the front desk manager everyone the night before decided to stay longer in their rooms then they should have and they could not get the rooms cleaned fast enough. We got to the property at 3 and were not allowed to check in until about 6:30. That was a real bummer since we just wanted to relax and our time at the hotel was limited to begin with. The rooms were beautiful (my family had a total of 3 rooms) but none of the mini-refrigerators were working so the beverages were hot, our heater did not work, and none of the bathtubs had working drain stoppers. The bar staff was horrible, several parties in the bar just got up and left because they were not being helped. Other than that the breakfast at the Veranda was delicious, the view was great, and we would definitely come back.
