Great location and affordable
The room was not all that, but I would stay again. The staff was nice, breakfast was good and the location as well. Just a few minutes away from Fashion Valley if you like shopping!

Right price in right location but needs some maintenance
Didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel and had no major complaints (which is why I didn't bother trying to get anything fixed with reception personnel who seemed to prefer not to be bothered) but little things didn't work in the room from lack of maintenance and care, which could also be said for hotel overall. Since the price was reasonable, I didn't care too much but if I had paid really good money, I'd be disappointed.

good value
the hotel was just fine for what we needed. It was clean, comfortable and the continental breakfast was decent, area was safe and quiet. Good deal, I would stay again if I go to San Diego.

A place to sleep & thats it...
old, well used hotel, needs a physical makeover. Room was clean, bed was comfy, pillows not so great. PPV tv was on the blink. Respectful & efficient staff. If you just need a place to crash for a night or two reasonably close to the airport, this is your place. Good diner right next door- try the Apple pancakes or French toast for breakfast!!
