Birthday Getaway

Would recommend Tue, Dec 22, 2015
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel, which is in a great location! I loved the fact that there were so many pizzerias in one area, which is seriously all at walking distance from this hotel. Saturday mornings they have a farmer's market just one block away in Little Italy, which was really cool. The hotel itself is very chic-vintage, which I thought was cute. I didn't check to see if the pool was up and running, but I did use the gym. I was bummed that the leg press machine wasn't working, so I just stuck to the weights and elliptical. I didn't try the glass door restaurant, but I had plenty of outside food from nearby restaurants. My boyfriend and I walked to the gaslamp district, which was only a mile away. I would stay here again! I just wouldn't pay more than $100 per night.

San Diego Little Italy find!

Would recommend Mon, Dec 7, 2015
Very enjoyable experience. The hotel is a work in progress, but what I experienced was pleasant. Staff was outstanding from the valets to front desk, to the restaurant and bar staff. Especially Jersey, the evening bartender - super personable. I'll go back!

good location, not the best service

Would recommend Wed, Nov 4, 2015
I had reserved a city view double bed room online, but when I got to the hotel, the guy at front desk told me that there were no double rooms with city view, so I told him that I had paid more for a city view room and he told me that he couldn't do anything. Besides that friendly welcoming the hotel is fine.

Not a good get away

Would not recommend Tue, Oct 6, 2015
Hotel location is good, but that's all. Room was extremely small, everything looks old, the entire hotel looks like an old apartment complex .. I won't recommended to anyone ..

Great location, beautiful spot to watch the sunset :)

Would recommend Tue, Oct 6, 2015
This is a nice spot right in Little Italy, within walking distance to the harbor, downtown, and a longer walk to the Gaslamp district. Nice bar with a great view. Rooms nice, nothing special, had some issues with bathtub plumbing, but were quickly remedied. Would stay here again for $150, not $200.

Great location and clean

Would recommend Wed, Sep 30, 2015
My husband and I spent one night here, and had a good experience. The price was reasonable for the excellent location. The place seemed like a renovated motel, so the room wasn't spacious or luxurious, but the bed was comfortable and clean, and we didn't spend much time in the room except to sleep anyway. It was just what we needed in terms of cost and location. This is a great place to stay while in SD, and to set up camp if you're planning on being busy with activities. Valet is a must, and it was $25/day with in and out privileges.

We have stayed there two times now. We always get the king size with harbor views. Service is very nice, just parking costs a lot. Will be back for sure!

Yuck to Yay!

Would recommend Wed, Sep 2, 2015
At first we were put in a small queen size room that had what looked like a blood stain on one of the pillows... Also, the air conditioning did not work and it wasn't until we stormed to the front desk (since they weren't picking up the phone) that they switched us out of that horrendous room. The suite they put us in was soooo much better! Lots of space, bigger bathroom, a large balcony, and a nice living area. I think the walls could have used some artwork and a larger TV, but all in all it was great. The AC unit worked beautifully.
