Perfect weekend getaway

Beautiful, ocean-front room. We loved it. Nice bedding, nice amount of space, etc. As two women traveling alone, we felt totally safe and taken care of. Would definitely go back.

Pacific review

There was a mishap with my reservation. Nobody seems to know who dropped the ball[...] I will say that the hotel staff did everything they could to make things better and upgraded me for the trip. I was very please by this and would recommend this hotel for everyone. My only problem with the hotel is that the pool area closes at 10pm. My friends and I thought this was way too early to close.

Pacific Terrace Hotel

I typed in La Jolla for the location and this hotel came up. Was not in La Jolla and was very dissappointed in that. However, the location right on the beach was fabulous!

Stay in this hotel it is fabulous!

This hotel is located right on the beach in Pacific Beach. There are loads of restaurants, shopping and beach activities within walking distance. Just a few miles away is Mission Beach where there is a roller coaster and other fun things to do. We ate at a small bar there called Coasters where there were great drinks and fabulous seafood. So, the location was fabulous. Our room was gorgeous and comfortable. I wanted to take the bed home with me. When I woke up that morning I opened the sliding glass door to our little outdoor area so that I could listen to the ocean and laid back down in bed for a while. It was so relaxing. I have never stayed in a place with such great service. Every person in the hotel was top of the line customer service. The only thing that I did not like was that they charged $20/day for parking. I thought that was quite pricey. It was valet only, but the valet people were very nice. Very enjoyable stay and I will definitely be staying there again.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a fun bar not far from the hotel called the PB Alehouse. They have some good brew and if you get the chance you have to try the Lobster Macaroni and Cheese. Delicious!

"An Honest Opinion"

It was an great trip at a great hotel. I just wish that they had a lounge or outdoor bar. There is a very limited drink option but the service was not that good nor were the drinks. We were forced to go to other places instead of hanging at the hotel

Don't want to give away this secret!

The hotel is beautiful! Great view of the ocean! Not too far from downtown San Diego/Gas Lamp or La Jolla. The Concierge provided step by step directions to all surrounding attractions as well as a selection of places to dine. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly! The rooms were beautiful!

Unbeatable view of ocean and surfers

This hotel has an amazing view and location, right on the beach and boardwalk. Rooms were large and clean and had a very comfortable bed. The pool is nice and clean and overlooks the ocean. Surfing is great just a couple of blocks down from the hotel. Staff gave us the idea to rent cruiser bikes and go long the boardwalk. This was a great idea and you get to see not only the fantastic view of the ocean but also some funny and freaky people. Watch out for the slow motion skater.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Me my friends went to a Mexican place a short walk from the hotel called "Gringos". Even if the place looked a little tacky we decided to give it chance and were very happy we did. Great food, price and very friendly staff.
