Three day getaway
The hotel is in a great location on pacific beach with the boardwalk just outside the hotel. There are lots of activities nearby and the hotel has people that will help you arrange this. Staff was awesome overall. Eating breakfast at Kono's (one block south) was magical for me. Will definitely be returning at some point in the future.

Great Service & Amazing Location
When we arrived at this hotel we were surprised to find out room was upgraded to a suite with an ocean view for free. The location of this hotel is amazing. It's right off the beach! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The one bummer though was the cost of parking in their private lot: $20.

Helpful, friendly staff made this an amazing experience. The pool and hot tub were great, the room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The location could not have been better, beach, shops and resturants all minutes away.

Pacific review
There was a mishap with my reservation. Nobody seems to know who dropped the ball[...] I will say that the hotel staff did everything they could to make things better and upgraded me for the trip. I was very please by this and would recommend this hotel for everyone. My only problem with the hotel is that the pool area closes at 10pm. My friends and I thought this was way too early to close.

Escaping from the snow
Wonderful getaway!
The ambiance at the hotel was perfect. Coming from snow country in central NY, we wanted a beach front room, palm trees, and a place we hadn't been before. The Pacific Terrace Hotel was very welcoming. The staff was always helpful, courteous, and pleasant. We are looking forward to returning for another visit. Also, San Diego was a pleasant surprise. Lots to do and see.

Enjoyed San Diego!
Great accommodations and great location
We booked a partial view room, and bumped up to the executive suite when we arrived. The St. Lucia suite was very spacious, with a huge and beautiful bathroom, two queen beds, comfy couch and chairs, dinner table, microwave, refrigerator, and a balcony with a view of the beach and ocean looking northwest. Our family of four had lots of space. The people working there were all very helpful and nice. They serve breakfast which is fast, but not very good, and otherwise there is no restaurant at the hotel, although there are many restaurants within easy walking distance. They even offered to have a doctor come to the hotel for a house call when one of our party was sick, instead of going to an urgent care. We really liked this hotel.

Wonderful experience
The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was clean, decorated nicely, quiet, and very comfortable beds. There is no restaurant or bar at the hotel, but for a cost they offered hot breakfast and mini bar for 1 hour in the afternoon. The advertisement for complimentary breakfast and wine reception was misleading. There are many, many restaurants, and other things within walking distance. Parking is $20 per night unless you're able to find street parking which we usually did. We had a partial ocean view and were lucky enough to be on the 3rd floor and further in which gave us a great view. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
