Location
Location was perfect but could have done without the guys hanging outside their room smoking and drinking. Mae me really uncomfortable when I was entering and exiting my room.

last minute room Without breaking the bank
The location is very convient and the hotel is large. The bathroom has room for improvement in decor as the paint was peeling. The windows are single pane old windows that let the cold and ambiant noises thru, as well as the large gap under the door that makes the room very drafty. Furniture is nice but they dont have flat screen tv's yet.

Grimey Rooms
We had to switch our room immediately because the room they placed us in had not yet been cleaned. The second room they placed us in was questionable. The comforter and sheets were wrinkled and stained, almost as if the bed were just remade, but no clean sheets were provided... However, this motel is located very close to the boot camp!

Don't be fooled by the name!
I should have paid more attention to the number of stars (2) than the name. Sink falling off the wall. Trim along bathtub falling off. Rugs frayed at doorways. Chair arm broken. Blue stuff on bathroom wall and pillow case, etc. If I'd paid $34 for the room, I might not complain, but at $99, it was ridiculous.

Great price and Location - ordinary room
The hotel is ideally located near Balboa Park,Sea World, Downtown etc... The rooms are outdated and average. Good price for the area.

A rainey day getaway.
we arrived at the hotel and was in our room withen a couple minutes, they where very polite and helpful. the rooms are clean and big.plus the location is great.
