Good stay overall.

The room was clean, comfy and well appointed. It was the perfect location for our trip as we could walk to everything we needed & didn't need a car.

Great location

It is in the perfect spot from the gas lamp quarter, USS midway, restaurants, and only mins away from Coronado island!!! The downfall is parking fees are absolutely ridiculous some reviews before said they were about 12; well now it's at 28 per day! You have to also pay for using internet in your room which is a lot as well!! They do have wifi down by the lobby but again for the price if the room you would think they would give you something!!

Great View

We had a wonderful time, with a wonderful view. Room was slightly small but clean. Wonderful service except for the poolside bar/restaurant. Can't find a better location but the $28 a day to park a car outside was a bit much. No free newspaper on weekends.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Excellent short distance to Downtown, Gaslamp District and Seaport Village. San Diego Padres play across the street. And very close to the Airport.

Perfect family vacation

SeaWorld, Zoo and La Jolla 15 min away. Really nice walking area, delicious restaurants. Try the wedge salad in Marina Kitchen. Extremely nice staff. Expensive parking though, we ended up parking across the street. Walking distance supermarket (Ralph's). Big rooms and big showers.

Great location, fine facilities, but...

Every now and then I go to a slightly more upscale hotel and immediately get reminded why I am happy with my standard 'majors' I use (eg: Holiday Inn). Don't get me wrong- great location, excellent facilities, great customer service-oriented people in all roles. However, $40 valet parking? $12 WIFI? All of a sudden the free paper, free parking, free WIFI and free breakfast and the mid-range joints I typically frequent look pretty swell. Just sayin'

Wonderful Trip

We had a very nice trip and would come back again. The hotel was very clean and everyone was very friendly. We had a gorgeous view of the city with a slight view of the harbor. The only draw back was the sound of the trolley crossing and the police activity in the middle of the night, not sure if it was because we were on a high floor and the sound traveled up or just that the windows aren't very sound proof, but overall we had a great experience!
