Perfect location, beautiful, great staff

The staff was so helpful with information, umbrellas, recommendations and service. The meeting rooms were spacious and well maintained. Sally's restaurant attached to the hotel is fantastic. GReat!

FANTASTIC

the item in the room for example, the purified drinking water was for sale for more than $4.00 when we paid high price for this room. where is the complementary item? personally, I felt more confortable if they charge in the price for the night instead of charge individually.

Great getaway to downtown San Diego

Great hotel to explore on foot the gaslamp area as well as the baseball fields. With the trolly and transit systems right there after a bit of experience you could get anywhere in town for little cost.

Very Nice Hotel

Overall very pleasurable experience. Concierge was very helpful but information she could not find for me I found in less than 5 minutes once I got home about another pizza restaurant I saw on the food channel. Other than that the hotel was very nice. The boardwalk outside the back door is terrific.

GRAND HYATT GREAT HOTEL GREAT LOCATION.

WE ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL AND IMMEDIATELY WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE LOBBY THE BELL MEN WERE GRACIOUS AND HELPED WITH OUR LUGGAGE. THE HOTEL IS IN THE BEST LOCATION TO WALK TO MARINA, SHOPPING CENTER AND OTHER WATERFRONT LOCATIONS. THE FOOD AT THE BUFFET AT LELAS WAS FIRST RATE AND OUTSTANDING. EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE HELPFUL IN ANYWAY THAT THEY CAN. A PERFECT TRIP FOR US.

very friendly and helpful, but could improve on parking

The Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego is a very clean and friendly hotel. The pub next to the lobby is a great place to sit back and enjoy a cold drink after arriving in the evening. The rooms are clean. The beds, pillows and sheets together are so inviting plus extremely comfortable. The only place that i saw that needs improvement is with the parking. Not where you park because that is a parking garage attached to the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, but having to pay $20 in order to park on their premises while staying in their hotel. Most places that you stay comp the parking. It's not the amount of money that bothered me. Just the feeling of not being a true guest.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

The Gas Lamp District is a short walk away from the hotel. If you enjoy Italian Cuisine you must try Asti. It's an incredible, authentic and delicious Italian restaurant that specialises in rissotos and meats.

How can you NOT like this place

This place is on prime real estate right on the harbor in downtown San Diego. This is one nice property. The Gaslamp District is only a 10 minute walk. The Midway air craft carrier is only a 10 minute walk. The Seaport Village shopping area is right outside the back down along with a nice little park called the Embarcadero. The staff was the nice..the room was spotless. There is nothing to complain about. It isn't the cheapest though.
