Great Location, but too many fees!
The hotel had a great location downtown. We got a rental car and had to pay $24 dollars a day to park it at the hotel. We ended up leaving it parked at the hotel because it was difficult to park anywhere downtown without also having to pay. Luckily we were within walking distance to downtown activities. The hotel also charged for internet, the fitness room and breakfast, which was a bit annoying since we payed $225/night. The up sides were that it had a grocery store close and a really nice t.v. Another downside, they used a flat sheet tucked in instead of a fitted sheet and it never reached the bottom of the bed so our feet were on the mattress pad all night.

Excellent location and view
I was at a conference in San Diego. The Manchester Grand Hyatt was a good hotel. However, the grandeur of the lobby and public areas was not entirely matched by the quality of the room in which I stayed: even though the linens were clean, there were old stains on the carpet and walls. I also thought that, for the price guests were paying, they should not have been charged additional $$$ for a small bottle of water available in the room. The service was excellent. I am particularly grateful for the assistance given to me by the receprionist and the people at the Concierge desk.

Thankgiving trip
I very much enjoyed the location of this hotel but was very disappointed at the kids that were running up and down the halls at 3 in the morning! In addition to this, the management did not compensate for all this discomfort.

Good location for convention center
As expected for a Hyatt, it's a nice hotel. The rooms seem a little dated and not quite up to the level in other Hyatt Hotels I've stayed in, especially at the prices charged during this large convention.

Great location
The location was perfect! The rooms were okay, not what you'd expect for the price (especially the price quote from their website!) There is a new tower and would recommend asking to be in new tower (Manchester). The tower we were in was outdated!! Walls were thin and very noisy, could hear everything out in hall and above and below us (ex. people taking showers, opening curtains, flushing toilets). Saw several other hotels in the same area around the same price and wished we would have chosen another one. The pool area was nice. The best part of staying at this hotel was the location so close to everything!

Hyatt isn't so Grand....
We brought a lot of family to the Hyatt for my son's graduation from boot camp. The room was very small and the beds were for tiny people. The lobby was grand and impressive, but it stopped there.
