Long Weekend Getaway
Staff was very courteous. Extremely impressed by cleanliness of room and grounds. Breakfast was wonderful with many choices. Convenient for hopping on freeway to visit many attractions. Self-parking requires a bit of a walk to reach the underground garage. Will stay there again when in the area.

Nice Hotel
When we arrived to the hotel, they were teeming with guests and we did not receive the room we had reserved and paid for. However, the following day, they upgraded us to the Regency Club floor ( a nice upgrade)and a free breakfast buffet. The Japanese restaurant and Michael's bar were very good. The hotel is not convenient to the beach ( a 10 minute drive). One cannot walk to town.

Orbitz Special Rate hotel stay
We only came for the night, but I realized when pulling up that I had been to that hotel before, but never stayed. The staff was amazingly friendly and the rooms were well equipped with a rennovation back in 2004. A great stay and I would definitely go back.

Out of the area from the amusement parks, but still no more than a 20 minute drive away, both Legoland and Sea World (for families) are close enough that you enjoy being away from them, yet can still get to them easily.

Great hotel, with very helpful staff
There's nothing to complain about here. The hotel is a beautiful property and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. Each time we picked up our car, the valet always asked if we needed help with directions, and the front desk clerks were able to answer all of our questions about the area. It's close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants, and to UCSD (which is why we were there). I highly recommend it!
