Long Weekend Getaway
Staff was very courteous. Extremely impressed by cleanliness of room and grounds. Breakfast was wonderful with many choices. Convenient for hopping on freeway to visit many attractions. Self-parking requires a bit of a walk to reach the underground garage. Will stay there again when in the area.

Oregon Duck fan
Mini-vacation from my husband's prostate cancer treatment
The breakfast varied eacy day with 8 hot dishes. fruit, juice, breads/cereals and wonderful coffee. Each lady server was so generous and friendly. The man who cleaned our room kindly gave us extra coffee when he knew we would be watching the Oregon game until 11:00 PM. The bed was way too soft. The gal who checked us in gave us information so we could use our computer. Eating at Torrey Pines golf course and walking in the surf at Torrey Pines state park. Great mini vacation for us traveling from Hemet via Oregon.

Second stay here
This was my second stay here, both times only for a short one day trip. The check-in was easy and pleasant and everything went without any hiccups. As always very clean rooms, nice staff, and overall great value. Would stay again.

Hyatt La Jolla
We loved the location of this property as our main goal was to visit the LDS San Diego Temple. The Hyatt is just a couple blocks away. We also loved the "fitness" aspect of the Hyatt with the sports club sharing the property.

Could be better
In general, our stay was so-so. The hotel itself was pleasant and well maintained. We have no major complaints of the staff, rooms, or grounds. Our biggest issue with the hotel was the fact that you had to pay extra for every little thing... Want access to Internet from your room? You'll have to pay for that. Want access to the Sports Club? You'll have to pay for that. Want to park your car in the hotel garage? You'll have to pay for that. Want to get food at the pool before Noon? You'll have to pay for that. Personally, I think a big differentiating factor of a hotel is the complimentary perks and amenities it provides. This one had NONE. You're literally paying for your room and nothing else.
