Easy access to San Diego attractions from Shelter Island location
Humphreys Half Moon Inn & Suites is situated on Shelter Island, between San Diego Bay and America's Cup Harbor. The hotel is close to many of San Diego's tourist attractions and minutes from the airport. The hotel's Shelter Island location makes it equally suitable for business conferences, family vacations or weddings. The tropical island setting showcases the recently renovated suites and rooms on offer from Humphreys Half Moon Inn & Suites. Many rooms feature views of the marina or the city. Humphrey's Restaurant offers guests fine international cuisine along with superb views of San Diego Bay and the Marina.

GREAT STAY
Our room was fabulous. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the 2 flat screen TV's. The mini kitchen was perfect.The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Half Moon Inn Rocks!
Lovely gardens, fun atmosphere, concerts right on the premises (the Moody Blues were playing!), next to the yacht basin. Spacious rooms, all the amenities, stunning pool and a fabulous breakfast. I was happy!

Good times!
The hotel was beautiful and the staff was really nice. Great restaurant for breakfast. We would have liked more vegetarian options, however. My biggest complaint would be the lack of transportation, we had to take cabs everywhere which got to be quite expensive. More info on the bus schedule or the trolley would definitely help. Otherwise a great experience.

Should have been told more
We walk into the hotel and another customer was having issue's with the manager. I asked if we would have a view of the ocean, the desk clerk could not answer and would not answer. I ask, do I have a view of the parking lot? She answered yes[...].

almost perfect hotel
The hotel was beautiful and location was great. I really scored big time on the deal I got from [...]. My only complaint would be staff related- there is not always someone at the front desk and did a lot of standing around waiting for assistance. Other than that, they were very helpful (when present). I would definitely stay here again.

Lacking that special somthing
Nothing included, the cost does not even include parking. The inside of the room was ok, the outside needs to be updated. The staff was not very friendly.

Nice hotel
We had a great time and the hotel staff showed us available brochures for us to sight see in San Diego. The only downside was that a special event was going on so we were not able to use the pool/bar.

Great place, great price
Great place, great price. I got a free upgrade as well to a junior suite with a view of the bay and the city. Great place to go for vacation and concerts too.

Nice place. Unique, nice setting. Be aware that there are open air, rock style concerts on site. And the bar is not nice & calm, but loud. Got a great deal [...] for Easter weekend.
