Clean and Updated
I had a good experience at the hotel. I found the room to be clean and comfortable and roomy. All the extras like the microwave and refrigerator were useful. The remodel of the hotel rooms were outstanding. I liked all the granite used on the counters and tub area. I was happy to have a washer and dryer available and the shuttle service to the airport was prompt and polite. There was also a table with chairs for eating or writing. The morning breakfast served belgian waffles, hard boiled eggs, sweet rolls, cereal, toast and juice and coffee. Some drawbacks were the location and landscaping. Although very close, the area wasn't the greatest and there was no landscaping to look at.

There is a Mexican restaurant attached to the hotel and across the street is a small shopping mall with Java Jims, circuit city, drug store. A few blocks on the same side of the road was a Walgreens.

comfortable stay
It was nice that the hotel is close to the airport, and they provide complimentary breakfast and shuttle service to the airport.

Nothing Flashy - A Solid SD Choice
This is one of any number of Hotels in the Sports Arena area. Gotta face the facts that Downtown and Mission Bay are just too pricey. The area's not much to look at. The rooms are fine, nothing special. On the plus side, they are central to everything, very friendly and the restaurant is quite good. The morning breakfast seemed popular for the families.

Short drive from hotel
This is as close as you can get to Mission Bay/Sea World at an affordable price. For me, that meant Robb Field/Ocean Beach.

Clean and comfortable
Came to san Diego to see the zoo and SeaWorld. The room was close to both places and the beach, nothing special about the hotel but it was clean and the staff was friendly. And there was plenty of restaurants near buy the area seemed a little seedy but surprising it was quiet at night. So if you're here to enjoy what san Diego has to offer and just sleep and maybe watch a little TV at night this hotel is worth a try.
