From the moment I arrived, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk and restaurant staff were exceptional. It was nice to hear a "good morning" (or whatever time it was) each time I arrived at the restaurant or lobby. Keep up the good work.

Good Hotel
Our experience at the hotel was good except that the room we checked into first had ants. We asked the front desk and they moved us to another room which did not have any issues. The rooms were clean and the hotel staff was helpful. They even provide a complimentary full-fledged breakfast.

Reasonably Priced for weekend in San Diego
Needed a place to stay on Saturday night in San Diego. Came across this Holiday Inn about 6 miles from destination. Was a bit hesitant, I generally stayed at 4-stars+ hotles, but did not want to spend over $200. Think they recently upgraded the room. Not as nice as Westin or Hyatt but about $100 cheaper during that weekend. Rate was reasonable and provided free breakfast for 2 not mentioned on website. Forgot toothbrush and they gave a complementary toothbrush.

Didnt Get what was told
When I mde my reservations onlne I booked the room with double beds when I got to the hotel all they had available was one king bed. Was very upset for that.

Visit to UCSD & Scenic Downtown La Jolla
Least expensive hotel we found in La Jolla. Room was clean and comfortable with free parking. Location was a short drive to UCSD and scenic downtown La Jolla. Had a wondeful time and will visit again.

If you have a student at UCSD and would be visting, this Holiday Inn location is a short drive to UCSD and scenic downtown La Jolla.

Good place for the money
Very friendly staff that checked us in and very clean rooms. Biggest complaint is the tiny parking spaces which most people had to take up 2 spaces to park.

Great Holiday Inn
The Holiday Inn was very nice. Room was great and had a mini refrigerator. The staff was very helpful! We toured a lot while there and it was only about 15 minutes from Old Town and 25 minutes from downtown and Seaport Village during non-rush hour traffic times. Rates were more reasonable than closer in. We will stay there again.
