We booked waterfront villa, as soon as we entered room, the smell in the room was terrible, like an old building. We asked to change our room, then we got California suite, it was big but old room and not comfortable at all. Over all the resort
needs renovation, even though it was remodeled. No service at all , tried to call from room to the Spa, left three messages, nobody answered. It is nice location, but hotel is old.
The hotel seemed very old, no elevator.
Our keys did not initially work, had to get them swapped.
The carpet of the room felt very dirty.
Our room was located near the pool, where there were multiple nightly functions that was very loud and
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short drive from hotel
Go to Fashion Valley mall. Lots of good eating places that are more cheaper!!
Pretty nice hotel but will charge you for everything little thing: $12 to use BBall and tennis courts, $30 for shuttle, $9 to use computer, $1.50 to print a piece of paper. We had a blackout and had no choice but to eat at their buffet and charged
us $25 to eat. The manager said "if they don't like it, they don't have to eat it". Just found a mysterious credit card charge of $856.55. Nothing like waking up and seeing that almost $1,000 has been charged and you have no idea where it came from
They are trying to cut cost and in doing so there is no microwave in any of the rooms unless I put out 20 dollors extra. The coffee two cup pot never makes two cups and the coffee tastes like dishwater. McDonalds is better. The door would not shut
close and on the first day the door was left open. We called security and they never fixed it. The maid did not pull it shut. Each use of the door you had to pull it shut. The air conditioner blew right on you in bed and could not be adjusted. The shower had not skid pad in the tub and when I asked they said put a towel in it!!! Very sad.
Very nice property average rooms ( this hotel needs a major renovation. You get the same smell as in a two star Florida resort. Clean rooms and the property has a very nice location. Things to worry abut is Parking 34$/night and another 22$ for
internet and using the facility ??? Both of them are mandatory even for Hilton Honours Diamond members. One more thing. Bring lots of cad as the ATM that is onsite is only dispensing 100$ per transaction at a fee of 3.5$. I still couldn't figure out how Hilton can be zoo cheap.
Hotel staff was indifferent, too busy booking reservations to attend to the needs of the patrons. A bit overpriced for the type of room (villa) and quality of service. Lots of amenities to keep the family busy. Close to museums, and recreational
