Hilton San Diego Resort & Spa runs Kids Kamp during summer months, allowing parents to relax. Newly refreshed rooms welcome guests with designer furnishings and luxury bedding. The centerpiece of this resort is the Spa Brezza, a $5 million facility with nine treatment rooms offering custom treatments drawn from Thai, Indian and Indonesian traditions once lavished on royalty.

Disappointed with the cleaning of the room. Parking fees and other fees on top of the booking was a surprise. Will not stay there again.

Family Trip

Would recommend Sat, Jul 18, 2015
$35 a day to park your car $25 a day resort fee I loved the location. Close to sea world Friendly staff No microwave in room Dining with kids after 5 is an issue unless you want to take them for an expensive meal there Staff gave me a list of restaurants and the one we went to was gone. They gave no specific recommendations. Great coffee at the aroma cafe Nice gym Awesome walk/run/bike path directly behind hotel. Nice for kids. Great pool. Food was our biggest issue with the kids after 5.

hotel is just ok

Would not recommend Tue, Sep 9, 2014
The best part of this hotel is it's location. Other than that, it's just ok. Our room was right against the parking lot next to a construction tent that was being built our entire stay. There is no valet and parking is very expensive. We enjoyed the pool but there is just one restaurant and it's on the higher end. The hotel sits just around the bay from Sea World which was nice. But I doubt we will a stay here again. Unless you are willing to pay well over 300 p night to view the bay, i don't see the benefits.

Time saver

Close to sea world and old town.

Really good but pricey

Would not recommend Wed, Jun 4, 2014
I will have to say this hotel is great. We had a garden view villa. The view was awesome. However, the $25 "resort fee" plus the $35 parking fee added up. We were going to get room service but a basic breakfast was $17 each not including coffee/juice. The on site restaurant was extremely expensive as well. But like I said the scenery was beautiful. The location was 15 minutes from most things we wanted to see. So you will enjoy this hotel but you will have to pay for it.

Memorial Day Vacation

Would recommend Fri, May 30, 2014
We had a great trip, we had family and friends visit us at the Hotel/Pool & we docked our Boat at the Hotel the whole trip. The Staff was the best I have ever encountered at Hotel. I felt that the room description was too vague, we thought we were getting a guest room with the 365 sq ft guest area, but it was really just extra space between the closet and the dresser. It's a bit expensive with the local room charge and self parking per night on top of these reservation that was paid online. But because of the great Staff, we would go back.

Time saver

The GPS took us the long way on trips to Restaurants, etc. Seemed to not know there was a bridge we could us to get to the other side.

Exactly What I Wanted

Would recommend Tue, May 6, 2014
Near Sea World, not too near. On the bay, great water sports available. Lots of park like activity all around you. Stayed in the tower, great comfort, bed is a dream. Coffee is the same! Asked for some extras and got it in double. All services top notch, food was great - although very slow one night. Great pool, ping pong, movies, popcorn... While there were many children, we were not overrun or inconvenienced.

Dining

Good food. But food is great all over san Diego.

Lot's of extras to pay

Would not recommend Thu, Feb 13, 2014
Very nice property average rooms ( this hotel needs a major renovation. You get the same smell as in a two star Florida resort. Clean rooms and the property has a very nice location. Things to worry abut is Parking 34$/night and another 22$ for internet and using the facility ??? Both of them are mandatory even for Hilton Honours Diamond members. One more thing. Bring lots of cad as the ATM that is onsite is only dispensing 100$ per transaction at a fee of 3.5$. I still couldn't figure out how Hilton can be zoo cheap.
