High-rise luxury along San Diego Bay

Today, the glass-and-steel edifice towers over the Bay itself, offering guests spectacular views of the entire city. The property features PURE Allergy-Friendly guestrooms for visitors with allergies, a 24-hour fitness room, a heated outdoor pool and a full-service spa onsite. Odysea, one of three on-site restaurants, spotlights American dim sum and creative cocktails.
Highlights
  • High-rise tower offers fantastic views of San Diego
  • PURE Allergy-Friendly guestrooms for visitors with allergies
  • Dine on American-style dim sum at Odysea, one of three on-site restaurants.
Rooms

The Hilton San Diego Bayfront offers 1,190 rooms, including 30 suites. All accommodations are spacious and modern, with furniture and carpets that still feel new. Features

The Hilton San Diego Bayfront has become famous for its views of the San Diego Bay.

Guests appreciate views from a giant open-air lobby patio that doubles as a sitting area. Guests receive complimentary access to the on-site fitness center and heated outdoor pool. A stay on the Bay

We went to the beaches while in San Diego and the hotel was a short ride from PB and MB. Overall the hotel was great. Excellent and polite staff. The restraunts were convenient and great. The distance from the Gaslamp district for nightlife was a definite plus. The rooms were clean and the price was very affordable. The only negative was that the lobby area was polar bear cold and made wearing summer clothing uncomfortable.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Don't really need to take a cab to get to anywhere in Gaslamp. Was actually a pleasant walk even for me and misses all glammed up.

Relaxing place

Very relaxing locations. The only 2 things good to have were.1/ hotel guest should not be being charged for parking fees (they charge $21/night for self parking and $32/night for valet). 2/ that kind of level hotel should have mini in-room service bar (so we do not have to go out and buy water or drinks).

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

If you do not have kids, no place better than this. Because this is walk-in distance for Gaslamp (the heart of the city), the most beautiful nightlife, all the clubs and restaurants. The best morning/evenigh walk by the bay.

unbeatable location for the price

I was visiting my son at San Diego,CA. I really had a good time with Trolley tour which was fun and enjoyable. I like the design of the hotel and walking distance to down town. The location is great. Compare to previous trips, this is the best so far.

Great location, better price

We checked in on Saturday afternoon of Labor Day weekend. Everything went well, fast check in. Room was easy to find. Great view. Loved the price. We only had to walk across the street to get to the Gaslamp district, where we spent the rest of the afternoon. Walking along the boardwalk near the hotel was great also. Watched a full load of bananas being unloaded from a cargo ship. We have paid more for less on numerous occasions, the price was great. We will stay again for sure, but will bypass the valet parking and self park in the future. I didn't get a valet tag so they did not know who my car belonged to. But, that was a minor detail. The place was clean and beautiful. The pool could be bigger as the place has lots of rooms with tons of guests.

San Diego Stay

Hotel rooms were exceptional. The view was spectacular. Disappointed in that room service came too early and if asked to come back later would say okay but never come back.
