Great hotel. quiet,clean and comfortable. modern furnishings and the most comfortable bed. What I saved on lodging made our kayaking La Jolla weekend getaway possible.

clean and comfortable
Near highways, convenient. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had comforts of home. Good for business travelers too- ergonomic chair in the room at the desk. Nice gym, good breakfast, friendly staff.

Very nice!
The hotel beautiful...it was much nicer than I thought it would be considering the price was reasonable. Check in and out were very easy and it was extremely clean. They also had sleep number beds that were amazing! We ended up picking it because other reviews had said it was quiet and close to the Zoo. Well it was quiet and good for couples. There was a lot of slamming noises, not sure if it was doors or the cleaning staff but I am also a very light sleeper. It was not close to the zoo though. It was about a 20 minute drive to the zoo and downtown San Diego. I know 20 minutes doesn't sound far but it felt far. I gave it 5 stars because I think the quietness and overall experience outweighed the distance.

Clean, contemporary and quiet
Great stay! Clean room, friendly staff and really reasonable price. The only draw back is that there are no other restaurants in the immediate area; you have to drive. The only option is the hotel restaurant, but I'm sure it's good. We just wanted to get a micro-brew or something.

Good for couples
The hotel was clean and the staff was great. The downside of this hotel was a bit far away from city center of La Jolla or Der Mar. However, taking the great room comfort, cleanness and amenities(internet and parking were free!) into consideration, I would love to stay at this hotel again!

Very nice hotel, very good environment
The hotel is very nice, the room is very clean, and you can adjust the bed for better sleep, it's very comfortable place to stay, also the environment is quite good, very near to the beach, nice if you'd like to take a walk, very nice gym provided.

On the road again
Quiet affordable getaway!
This hotel was in a perfect location - away from the crowds of the hotel circle in San Diego. It's tucked away from the freeway but does have quick in and out to the freeway. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly with everything we needed. They also accomodated a room quickly bec our daughter was not feeling well!
