Son's graduation
The hotel staff was very pleasant from the minute we got there until we left. One of the waitress's at breakfast was so kind about helping us find a babysitter for my grandson. She went out of her way. The rooms were huge and everything worked. We had all the kitchen amenities we needed.

My Best Hotel Experience Ever
I travel at least once a month for work and my company receives special rates with Hyatt and Sheraton Harbor Islands among other hotels. This time I came on my own for a little weekend get away and it was my first time in this hotel. The cleanliness, size of bathroom, quality of furniture, friendliness of the staff, comfort of the bed and last but not least breakfast were unmatched. Next time I am in San Diego, I will not be staying at any other hotel.

A Plesant Weekend Getaway
The hotel was very nice, modern motif and well decorated. The staff friendly and helpful. The room (suite) was cozy, clean, and comfortable. However, we were surprised that the televisions were not HD flat-screen. The kitchenette was well equipped with a full-size refrigerator, small stove-top, microwave oven, dishes, utensils, and cookware. The hotel even offered free breakfast for its guests - not continental breakfast but a respectable breakfast buffet. The hotel even had onsite laundry facilities for its guests. The rates were an excellent value, and the suite and its amenities were very welcoming. We would stay again at the Hyatt Summerfield Suites, San Diego.

Would stay here again!!
I would say this hotel was amazing!! It was like staying in a little apartment! I loved the staff and awesome services!! Next trip to San Diego I'm staying here again!!! :)

Mira Mesa Hyatt
Great place at a great deal! Had trouble fining it as I thought it was located in La Jolla and directory assistance couldn't find it! Once Orbitz confirmed the address I was fine. Only 10 minutes from UCSD.

The check in process very fast and easy. Nice clean lobby. The rooms very large clean with current nice decor.I was most uphappy to find when I returned to my room late at night that it has not been cleaned. I had to call for fresh towels. When I checked out, I was not asked how was everything. I told them my room was not cleaned and they said that it happened but there was nothing they could do for a discounted rate[...]

A lovely, quiet place to stay
My husband and I like to stay at places that are not in the thick of things, and this hotel fit us to a T. Very quiet, a little out of the way of tourist attractions, but still reasonable access to locations we wanted to visit. The hotel probably serves businesses in the area during the week more than tourists on vacation. The room was a little smaller than we expected, but really, all we did was sleep there. An excellent little restaurant completed the picture downstairs.

Entertainment tip:
Short walk from hotel
Just down the street (north on Pacific Heights Blvd.), tucked in a little strip mall, is a comedy club called the Mad House Comedy Club. We just stumbled on to it while walking after dinner, just in time for the show. Excellent comedians, seven performed in an 1.5-hour show. Haven't laughed that hard in a very long time.

The hotel staff was very accommodating for every request we had. We changed rooms in the beginning because we needed a cooktop in our room. They were also extra helpful when it came to directions.
