*GOOD* Nite Inn
The location is really convenient to Sea World, Ocean Beach, Old Town, and Downtown, so that was a big plus for me. The rooms were kinda dumpy, but they were clean, and they had smoking rooms. The staff was very nice, and upon learning that we had just gotten married, they put together a little "newlywed" package of Cup O Noodles and breakfast bear claws, and a little handmade "Congratulations" card, complete with star stickers. :-) I thought that was so cute it was amazing. :-) For being kinda dumpy, the place was quiet and no one bothered us at all. I don't know i I would make it a vacation spot, but if you want one step above a hostel and one step below a Day's Inn, and cheap prices, it's an okay place, :-)

Great deal!
After being helped in the lobby by Great Staff, (thanks Philip), we were given helpful directions to our room. Although it was a non-smoking room, it still had a smell of smoke. There was no microwave or hair dryer. The room was a perfect size. It wasn't cramped. The access for electric outlets was good. Nowadays, two people arrive with a minimum of two devices EACH which need overnight charging. We had more. This room was easy to control the climate, we could make it warmer or cooler and we were comfortable. There was THE Electric plug at the sink that didn't work; it was replaced before we got back to the room. THANK YOU FOR QUICK ATTENTION to the needs of the customer. The Internet access was terribly spotty, UNTIL I signed up for the 3-day package, and made sure I chose hotelservice3. We were attending a 4-day Chiropractic Seminar. The location was perfect for driving to Paradise Island everyday. There was the Super Moon while we were there. I got a great pic.

WANT SOMETHING CHEAP??
I guess you get what you pay for! This hotel is something! To start off with make sure you have extra money in bank, they have to do a $25 holding fee, even if your hotel is paid for. Then no free wifi here, you will be paying to use the internet, also parking expenses are crazy too! All in all it would be less expensive to go to a better a hotel, that way you get what you most hotels give for free! All in All in would cost the same to pay a hotel $70 as it would be to pay this hotel $50. With your $70 you would get parking, internet, fridge, microwave, room service, cleaner and an all around better hotel experience. (Just one more thing, they said we were only allowed to order and have room delivery from some pizza place! Im grown I eat where I want)

the worst hotel I ever stayed
This is the worst hotel I ever stayed. DO NOT try the hotel. It is dirty and noisy outside. Except two dirty beds, there is nothing else in the room.

Inexpensive and Clean
Room was not fancy but was quiet, clean and a decent size. Staff was very nice. Hotel doesn't have extras but price was great. If you are just looking for inexpensive and clean this is the place. Only complaint was that wake up calls were either late or didn't get at all. Other than that was fine.

Hotel was ok for a short stay
but would not recommend for a family. It is right next door to a strip club so there were drunk, noisy people outside my door both nights. There is no hair dryer and you have to pay for internet. The room seemed clean and it was conveniant off Highway 5 and near the San Diego airport. Was the least expensive in the area.

close to everything
It's clean and most of all close to everything San Diego has to offer. A cab ride was very convenient and affordable. Did not get to try the bus though.
