Nice Place to stay
The location of the hotel is perfect; close to mall and other local attractions. The staff was very nice and the set up of the room was comfortable. I loved having a kitchen with cookware to cook my own food. What was not impressive was a weird smell coming from the kitchen area. The room was clean so not sure where the smell was coming from. Overall though a nice place to stay.

Good value
First room had terrible odor, they.gave me another room with no hassle. All staff and manager were extremely helpful and friendly. Really liked the windows with screens, A/C efficient, bed comfortable, shower excellent, room quiet. All in all, no frills, but very adequate, safe, pleasant stay. Would like captioned TV and automated front doors when carrying in luggage.

Very nice experience
We were very surprised how nice and clean the rooms were. Very nice, I wouldn't say 2 stars, rather 3. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I've stayed in San Diego a couple of times but, for the money, this was the best experience so far and it will be my choice for the next time. The location is okay, it's around 10-20 minutes to most San Diego attractions - Point Loma, Mission Beach, La Jolla, Downtown, ... For the price? Definitely recommended!

Great for a family
We were planning to go to sea world in San diego with my two and a half year old son. The hotel provided a full kitchen, which was very convinient. The hotel is located in a perfect spot. We had got passes online and when we almost reached sea world we found out that I had forgotten the passes in the hotel, we went back and got them the whole process took us not more than 20 mins. I would recommend it.

Nice Family Vacation
I had a very good experience a this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I thought the location was great for our needs. We were within minutes of all the major attractions ans beaches. The only negative was the breakfast was pretty slim.

Just to spend the night...
The hotel advertised free breakfast, but it was a grab n go arrangement. If you can start your day with a coffee n muffin you are good. families make your own arrangement.

Admittedly, I booked last minute when my AirBnB host cancelled unexpectedly. This hotel is designed for long term residents, not vacation or business travel. It's a $10-15 cab ride to the nearest San Diego trolley stop at Old Town. Nothing else (decent restaurant, store, etc) within walking distance. I was put in a smoking room (no choice due to last minute booking) and the room and entire floor just reeked. Probably not worth the price.

Great location!
The hotel was in the perfect area. Right off the freeway, minutes from old town, sea world and downtown. The price was great for the location. On sight laundry was a great amenitie.
