Pretty good...
We visited during a remodel so you can imagine what that's like. The staff was really friendly however. There wasn't much in the area to do and not to many eating establishments nearby. But the beds were quite comfy and overall the room was tidy. The lobby was nice as well. It was priced reasonably (probably due to renovations).

Out of the way traffic and construction in sore to valley is horrible
room was average as was amenities. The lobby lounge/bar was ok and had easy wifi accessibility. The major issue is location and construction of roads. Delays and detours were present every where

ucsd student
great stay for ucsd tour!
my mom took me down to visit ucsd, we were only there a few hours (from 8pm to 10am) but it was really worth the stay! they patio area outside for all the guests to use looked really nice, as did the food items that could be purchased for snack in the hotel. i wish we had more time to enjoy the hotel!

Reaxing hotel

Nice Hotel, clean, friendly. They hide the free coffee, but it's there in the lobby. No free breakfast, but a nice Bistro with good things to offer for a price.

Great location
Liked the location. Nice chic lobby. Didn't like the fact that even though our booking through orbitz included breakfast, but they never acknowledged it. Also they do not have WiFi in the rooms only cable internet.

good for price
Rooms were nice and hotel was well maintained. There happened to be a a soccer tournament and many kids were there running around and playing on the elevators...but that was not the hotels fault. The pool is heated but we didn't get a chance to use it. The water in the room is 2.50 a bottle.
