my stay
Room was great, staff ere great. The lack of the bar at the weekend was not acceptable. The concierge said they close it at the weekends because they aren't so busy as during the week. However my room rate wasn't discounted to the level of a 'barless' hotel. The breakfast was weird, sausage, very dry lumpy scrambled eggs, then a jump to French toast/waffles, there was no potatoes or starch with the breakfast selection other than bread.

Unplanned trip extension
Last minute plans change. Found this hotel. Price very good for room quality compared to nearby hotels. Great breakfast. Wish we'd stayed here the two previous nights in San Diego instead.

Good getaway
Relaxing trip went to sea world didn't get to use the pool the bathrooms needed better plumbing in the bathtub water backed up a little overall good trip

Good value with all basic amenities
The hotel is located about 10 mins from La Jolla shores and has convenient access to the freeways. It has all basic amenities that we look for in a hotel - clean room, good service, pool/spa, wireless internet, gym and free parking. Hot breakfast was included in our room charge and was very good.

Great!
Overall a great experience! It is not the Waldorf, but clean, decent breakfast, great location for us, speedy checkin/out. We wished the pool hours were a little later - we could have used the jacuzzi after the long days we had. We also asked to be away from everyone because we stay up late (and sleep late) and they ended up rooming us next to kids that screamed first thing in the morning. Yikes. But they had a lot of little extras - they will rent you a fridge for $10 night, they have a washer/dryer (plus detergent), vending machines. Front desk was very helpful with maps and directions. Our housekeeping staff was awesome.

Great hotel
This hotel is at a good location for going to Sea World or Legoland. We went to both and this is somewhere in the middle. There is Chili's resturent nearby. Other resturents are nearby within about 2 -3 miles range. Hotel location is quiet and in the office park area. Good service and great FREE breakfast.

This was an excellent hotel for the weekend to stay in. The location was a little difficult to find but other then that it was really great.
