Comfort Suites I-15 Miramar

...or else your tub will flood with dirty water black stuff. whenever the upstairs occupants would shower our tub would gurgle and dirty water would come up out of the drain.

Asked for handicapped accessible room meaning one with bars in shower/tub. Received one in back corner, dark as a cave, outfitted for wheelchair. Closet was metal shelf about 3 ft high with hangers. Shower was for wheelchair, so everything at waist level. Curtain rod was curved, so flooded bathroom--to late in evening to request clean-up. Breakfast was not very imaginative, no microwave to heat up anything. Not at all up to standards I've encountered at other Quality Suites and Inns.

The hotel was acceptable overall. I may have misunderstood the info but I was under the impression that the hotel had a resturant...it did not...a breakfast of sorts was offered but it was very minimal.....and the "Happy Hour" was not really a good idea for the hotel...it was very limited..only a couple of choices for beer....and red or white box wine..... The closest dining was "Denny's".

Beds were good, backside of hotel was quiet. The room had been remodeled but wasn't finished. Needed some trim work. Water was turned off for a repair one night,they didn;t inform us that we were going to be without water. I went to the front desk to find out what was going on , I was told the City of San Diego turned off the water to the entire town. Helloo! I wasn't born yesterday. Bartender was nice

This hotel was exceedingly average. The rooms were decently clean (though could use a bit more attention with a vacuum), the staff was sufficient without actually being friendly, the breakfast provided was minimalist (eggs, cereal, bagels and pastries) but fresh. I have no complaints and would stay there again, and it's a great hotel for the price, but there's nothing exceptional about the hotel either. It was nice in that it was located near a number of restaurants and shopping areas. Being a suite, we were able to drive just a few blocks (past a highway; you wouldn't want to walk it) and go to a grocery store, load up on food, and store it in the fridge. Also near a Target, Best Buy, and Barnes & Noble.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful, allowing us to check in early, giving us a quieter room and even letting us charge our cell phone when we discovered their charger worked on our phone. It is noisy though being located close to the freeway.

Very close to all major shopping and eatery nice rooms. WiFi was good and the water was hot friendly staff with smiling faces. Limited breakfast but there literally is a denny's 100 paces out the front door. Overall a good stay would stay again but still a lil pricey

Overall a pretty good place. The rooms are a bit dated, but the bed was comfortable and room was decently kept. As a 1 BR suite, it was a great value with a living room complete with microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. Breakfast was included, which was with a warm meat i.e. sausage, bacon and egg, waffle maker, various breads, cereals, yoghurts and juices. Not too bad for a continental. Weekday evenings included a happy hour with beer and wine. Location was right off the freeway with easy access going all directions. For someone looking for a good value, this place fits the bill.

I have stayed at Comfort Suites on several occasions for extended business trips. It is centrally located off of the i15 and Mira Mesa Blvd with easy access to freeways in all directions. The rooms are in need of some updating, but still are spacious and comfortable. My biggest complaint on this trip is the AC noise from the other units. As there was a major heat wave, I could understand. Continental Breakfast was decent with a mix of pastries, breads, cereals, juices, waffle makers and hot eggs and a breakfast meat. Great swimming pool area for these hot days.
