The jacuzzi was hot; not tepid like most motels. Had a restful sleep before traveling the next day.

It was Good, free wifi is excellent, pool is clean, and free breakfast very complete.

It's a motel - and a slight cut above most hotels. BIG plus, the breakfast bar is amazing for a motel! Plenty of seating (unless a busload of folks show up), plenty of options: cereals, toasts, danishes, scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon or patties, juices, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, and make-your-own waffles - alas, not the Golden Malted mix, which would have been great! Another plus - the housekeeping staff is ON TOP OF IT! Our bath/shower wasn't draining well, but we were too tired to call it in that evening. The next day, the drain was fixed, and worked like a charm - WITHOUT US CALLING IT IN! AMAZING for staff to solve the problem without a guest being involved. That's proactive and highly commendable. Our room was toward the back, by the hillside, and quiet, except for the elephant children (teens) above us the next day. I also liked the pillows ratings - harder ones in the back, softer ones in the front - 4 pillows / bed! The softness wasn't that different, but it was the thought that counted. Since we only used the room as "home base" it worked for us. For those wishing to work in the room, I think it'd be a bit boring. The internet worked even in the back of the motel, but it wasn't as fast as the cable speeds we are used to at home. I wish there was a small refrigerator available, but we made do with a large bowl we brought with us, and the ice machine. The bathroom and room was clean, though the carpets probably can do with replacing soon. The linens and beds were very clean, and comfy. I would recommend this motel for those needing a simple place to stay. Just the breakfast made it worth it!

Small parking lot. Slapped with a $8 parking fee! It must have been somewhere in small writing, I'm sure! Food was nothing special.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights August 12th-17th, 2012 while we spent time in San Diego at Sea world, the zoo, beach etc. Hotel room was small but appropriate for the price. Close to Sea World, the zoo and the beaches and right off the freeway. The bed was okay but the pillows are terrible; very flat and uncomfortable. Parking is an additional $8 a night and we had no problem getting a space any of the nights right in front of our room. The hotel next door is being rebuilt so the construction workers were up very early in the morning making a lot of noise... but that's not really Comfort Inn's fault. The breakfast was good especially considering its free: eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, yogurt, make your own waffles, bagels, pastries, juice, milk and water. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would stay here again easily.

the hotel was in a very easy location to go to the beach!!! We drove in just to hang at the beach, and this was in a really easy location to go to and from Coronado Beach. The only part that was a surprise was the 8.00 parking fee. If I had read the small print, I would have see that... bummer, it bumped the stay to a bit more expensive than I wanted to spend. But, the breakfast was good, the room was clean. And loved the BEACH.

Only thing good about hotel was breakfast! Has great continental breakfast. Rooms were small and bleh! Just a bed and tv. No fridge no microwave no safe! If ur just gonna sleep there its fine! Outside looks nice but inside needs upgrades! :/

The location was good and easy access for where we wanted to go. I would stay here again. Room was cleaned daily and the staff was very polite!
