Capri by the Sea by All Season Resort Lodging

First of all the view was spectacular. At night in the main bedroom, we were on the sixth floor, we opened the slider and went to sleep to the sound of the waves crashing to the shores. It was so peaceful. In addition the sunsets were amazing. The living area was spacious for my husband, myself and 2 teenagers. The owners of the condo had nice dishes and beach toys for us to use as well. The one thing that would have helped was coffee in the morning.

The 2 bedroom was exceptional,every needed amenity in the room ,alot of space, amazing oceanfront views from master bedroom and living room.

The view doesn't get any better than this. On our last day, we saw the most amazing dolphin show right from our balcony. 20+ dolphins practically swimming alongside the surfers. And it wasn't just a minute or two. They stayed for a half hour at least. Incredible! We just stumbled upon this location and we really loved it. If you want to be right in the thick of downtown action, this isn't the place for you, but if you like a more relaxed vacation, this is great. Halfway inbetween Mission Beach and La Jolla, the Mission Beach boardwalk continues right past the property. There are lots of restaurants & stores within walking distance. Or you can take public transportation (30 bus connects to the public trolley/bus system) from here into the hills of LaJolla or the opposite direction, into downtown SanDiego. Or you can drive to downtown/airport in about 15 minutes. You get an assigned parking space in the property's lot - included in the price. We ate out most of the time, but there's a fully equipped kitchen and several grocery stores nearby, so you wouldn't have to. Our only issue was that the couch & loveseat were a little old/uncomfortable, but since we chose to stay in one of the less expensive units, that might be expected.

The Capri By the Sea was an awesome place to stay for a family getaway. We were there 7 nights with our kids and grand kids. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit on the corner. It had beautiful views of the beach and surfers. The beach is right there to enjoy swimming and building sandcastles. There were beach toys and boogie boards right in the unit for us to enjoy. We were within walking distance of the grocery store and a variety of restaurants.The staff was great, always there to help us if we had a question or needed anything. They told us that we would get clean linens half way through our stay but we didn't get them. When we went to the front desk to inquire about fresh towels they sent someone right up with a large supply of clean towels. One thing we wished they would have had in the unit was a small blanket to throw over us when we we sitting around in the evening. Also the unit we had didn't have a light over the dining table (and the other light in that room was pretty dim) so when we came back after dark it was hard to see to eat dinner or play games, etc. The biggest downside of our stay was our parking spot in the parking garage. We had the spot way back in the corner on the lower level that was hard to get into for a minivan. We had a wonderful stay and are already planning our next adventure at the Capri By the Sea.

Got a corner room 1012, which is nice b/c the second bdrm window also had seaside views. In fact, all the condos have seaside views, but the 2nd bdrm is facing the city. So unless you're on the corners, your 2nd bdrm really doesn't have much of a view. Clean and well furnished. Our room had cable TV and wifi. There's a washer and dryer on each flr. When checking in at night your keys are left w/ the security guard at the front desk, which isn't a problem. I would stay again, amazing views and good living arrangements.

Full size 1 br condo. This condo was in a great location, right next to the beach. Frontroom window looked right out to the water(2 br have master facing water too). It is not serviced with towels everyday( must stay 6), like a hotel, but there are laundry rooms on each floor. Our room was wonderfully equiped with beach ware(chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, unbrella). The staff even replaced one boogie board because it was broke when we got there. Parking is free in the underground garage. Many places to eat, shop, stroll, & sun. We had a great time. We would love to stay again.

We will be back for sure , for us was perfect location.

Great view and beach location. Everything within walking distance. Stores, restaurants, great boardwalk.

The hotel was amazing. Located right on the beach. The view was breathtaking. The hotel exceeded our expectation.

Room 1101. 11th floor right on the beach. Loved listening to the waves and watching the surfers. VERY QUIET! Secure underground parking spot very convieninet. 2 Bed room suite was nice as kids stayed in one room and we have room to stay up and talk after they went to bed. Well worth the upgrade from one BR. Only criticism is bedding and linnens were a bit weak. More towels would also be nice.
