California Suites Hotel

This hotel is nice for a family on a budget. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen is helpful so you don't have to keep running out for food. The amenities are nice and it's very quiet. I would stay here again.

Nice and comfortable. A four night stay got us a decent discount on room rates. The swimming pool is warm and large. Breakfast menu was ordinary but more or less satisfactory. Must appreciate the staff for its help and assistance. The hotel is at a comfortable distance from the places you would love to see in San Diego but in terms of the location, its kinda lonely. Lovely flowers and plants around but the rooms are just too close together. So thumbs down for privacy. Overall would stay again on next visit. Will probably try their extended stay package.

I needed a two night stay for a conference I was attending. I arrived Friday night around 10.. The lady at the front was super slow and charged me (when I was supposed to be charged after I leave). Whatever. I got 2 keys from her.. one for a gate outside to get inside, and another for the room. The key for the outside gate doesn't work because the gate is broken. EVERYONE, even the security has troubles opening the gate. The owners apparently haven't fixed a simple cheap problem for some time now apparently. All guests had to wait for someone inside to open it. So much for "security". The Room is simple. I liked the fridge, the hair dryer, microwave. The blankets are super thin and there's no freee wi-fi. Walls are super thin so you hear ALLof the partying kids outside as well as any late check ins coming in. Boo.

I had a conference to attend Sat/Sun so I went the cheap way and stayed at this hotel. I got two keys, one for the room and the other for the outside security gate. The outside gate is broken and we couldn't get in. Apparently, the owners have been notified of this many times before but haven't fixed it. Annoying. So much for security.. all the guests were letting other guests in because no one could open it! The room is average.. sheets/cover are super thin. Walls are SUPER thin so you hear EVERYONE ..esp the late night partying/talking from outside. I only liked the fridge and microwave and good water pressure in the shower.

My boyfriend & i has a slight long distnce relationship so finding a good hotel @such a great deal & location is very important! Location was awesome,many many choices of food & entertainment! Great sushi place across st & minigolf in less than a minute away! Not only was the area awesome but the room itself was better than expectd! Seems as if it was remodeld! Nice bathrooms,fully stocked,clean beddding,nice carpet &compl.brkfast was nice treat! Awesome staff as well! Sweet & sense of humor! We'll def.ly b back!

Het hotel ligt iets buiten het centrum, maar wel aan de snelweg. Binnen een kwartier zit je in hartje San Diego en binnen 5 minuten bij een van de grote shopping malls met bioscoop etc. Voor mensen met een auto is dit prima te doen. Als je aankomt oogt het hotel al goed. De tuin en plantsoenen zijn mooi bijgehouden en ze hebben een zwembad met ligstoelen. Jammer vond ik het alleen dat ze geen wifi hadden. Wel internet met een kabel, maar dan moet je wel een laptop hebben waar zo'n kabel in past. De kamer was ok, alles was aanwezig. Verwacht geen luxe, maar prima voor de prijs die je betaalt. Ook hier zat een simpel ontbijt bij ingegrepen. Vraag wel even de tijden aan, want wij viste de eerste dag achter het net...
