Best Western Yacht Harbor Hotel

Our experience was very good with the hotel and staff. Front desk was very friendly. Our room was clean however the heating probably needs to be looked at. It did not seem to adjust to the control on the wall and the room seemed kind of cold even when set on 82. Overall great value with our additional discounts and a great location.

I found the staff to be very helpful and pleasant. Parking allowances for extended fishing trips and access to various eateries, docks/fishing fleets, makes the Yacht Harbor Hotel a perfect place for me to start and end my trips. The mornings breakfast bar is a real plus.

Love the location and friendliness of the staff except night staff not too responsive. They say they have incidentals if you forgot them, but he acted like he didn't know that, took a long time to find a tube of toothpaste and said he would have to send someone up with a razor (at 11 pm at night) NO THANK you. Other than that, good.

Very functional rooms, clean, excellent housekeeping service----they cleaned what I wanted cleaned and left my personal belongings alone. They even added an extra blanket on the bed when the temperatures got unusually cold at night. The breakfast was GREAT and I loved having hot chocolate available at the coffee bar 24 hours a day. The location is central to everything in San Diego and only minutes from the airport. I will definitely stay there when I return to San Diego!

Our first time to California! The staff was great, the rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable & great location to everything! We really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back next year!!!

We spent our first and last nights in San Diego at this hotel because it offered a relaxing setting with easy access to/from the airport. We had a conference in town at a much more expensive hotel, but our beds were just as comfortable and the bathroom was bigger at Best Western! The shuttle driver was fantastic, offering suggestions of several good places to eat within walking distance. We went to both of his recommendations twice! Everyone there was kind, the location was great right across the street from the marina, and we'll try to stay there again!

This hotel was close to everything we were doing in San Diego-Balboa Park, downtown, and up the coast to the beaches. We had an early flight out on Sunday, and had a quick trip back with the rental car, and went off to the airport. The rooms were clean, the staff was great,, the breakfast was fine-I would have appreciated more fresh fruit, but many people enjoyed the waffle maker. The only down side might be that the hotel was on a busy street, but it did not disturb our sleep.There was covered parking that was so convenient, and a nice pool.

The hotel is really close to the airport. The hotel was quiet, I liked that they did not accept pets. I have allergies and it is hard to find a hotel that does not take pets. The beds were not very comfortable and the room was small, the furniture was clean but old. It was fine for a business trip, there was a very nice fitness center, a small outdoor pool and a continental breakfast from 6 am until 9 am and plenty of parking all were free. It was an OK hotel.

Easy to find and slept well. When asked for information on locations and ideas were helpful and were used.

Nothing special here. Room was very small with a king bed that had a mattress that was worn out. Probably would not stay there again. The staff was friendly but the property needs to be updated.
