Best Western Yacht Harbor Hotel

Had a great stay at this hotel. Beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have a balcony to go outside on. No complaints . Has a shuttle to pick you up and take you to the airport which is very helpful. The staff also was very kind and gave alot of ideas of things to do if you were new to the city.

Pleasant accomodations. Room was small, somewhat like those in Europe. Very clean. There was a constant humming noise from some type of equipment in the building. Actually, we booked incorrectly and received hotel accomodatiions some distance where I thought we were going to be. Totally my fault.

My sister and I stayed here on our trip to California to visit some colleges. The staff was pretty friendly, and we felt safe. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it certainly did the job.

The rooms were very clean. The staff was also friendly. Very family friendly hotel. We all enjoyed our stay!

Stayed at this hotel over spring break with my boyfriend. Room very clean, nice heated pool & jacuzzi. Used the gym, pretty basic. Friendly staff and great place to eat & grab drinks across the street at Jimmy's Famous Tavern! Relaxing view of the harbor & free parking & breakfast! Really cheap deal booking ahead. Only complaint is it was a little further then expected from local attractions like little Italy and Gaslamp district.

The room is nice and clean. Breakfast was ok. But nice parking space, walk distance to harbor. We did not get a room facing the harbor, but what is the matter, San Diego has a lot more to see. The internet is really bad. Too slow, hard to get to, and disconnect all the time. I happened to have need to use internet to keep contact with work, but did take a lot of time to reconnect to the net. TV is still the old one, and not much channel, but again, who will watch TV in San Diego?

My stay at this hotel was great for the price. The room was very clean and very quiet. The continental breakfast exceeded my expectations offering a wide variety of items. The staff was friendly and helpful and I was even reimbursed for the taxi ride from the airport since their shuttle was not available! There are also a few really good resturaunts in walking distance.

Needs some updating, vents are noisy and flapping. Staff is great and helpful and they do have a shuttle to the cruise dock and back. It is a convenient stay and you can leave your car in hotel parking while on your cruise. I suggest do not get a room on the 1st floor, we had crickets!!

The front desk staff was helpful enough yet not extremely friendly. The location was great, easy to get to.

I work for a small company and we were going to be in San Diego for a convention. We opted to stay a bit away from the convention hotel because of the room cost, lack of convenience (not really too close to restaurants), and charge for internet and parking. The Best Western had it ALL. We were within 1/2 mile of about 10 or 12 restaurants (definitely a nice walk around the harbor area), could see the harbor from the hotel room balconies, convenient and free parking, a pretty wide selection of items in the continental breakfast (yes, they have a waffle maker), and a great exercise room. Clean and spacious rooms, friendly people at the front desk, nice up-to-date rooms and lobby. Oh....and we paid about HALF the price of the convention hotel's rooms, not to mention saving around $20/day on parking, $10/day on breakfasts and whatever the convention hotel was charging for Internet! There is a walking path that runs for a couple of miles along the harbor right across the street from the hotel.
