The Best Western Yacht Harbor Hotel has views of San Diego Harbor and is close to the city's major attractions and business centers. The Best Western Yacht Harbor Hotel lobby has views of the hotel pool and the harbor, giving it a great atmosphere for meetings. The hotel fitness center includes elliptical machines, exercise bikes, weights and a treadmill. The pool and Jacuzzi are great for relaxing after touring the city or attending business meetings. The hotel has a business center, equipped with a printer and pc for the use of guests and there is also a flexible workspace for delegates using their own laptops.

Tiny Room and the carpets were filty
The room had a king size bed, with almost no room an any side or in front of it. the carpet was awful. if you walked bare footed on it for a couple of minutes your feet were black, not good. Especially if you have a child who is at the crawling stage, as i do. The staff was nice the breakfast was fair.

we had a good time.
The hotel was good. The breakfast was good and the staff was very nice. It was not first come first serve they Kept refilling it until cut off time. Miguels Mexican food around the corner was good. We were only 10 minutes from the zoo.

Great place to stay
The location was perfect. It was 5 minutes from the beach, Sea World and the zoo. The staff could have been any nicer or helpful. The kids loved the hot tub and pool. View from the balcony overloooking the harbor was beautiful.

Filthy Carpets and Motel 6 Decor, Great Location
Staff good, breakfast good, lobby and price pretty good, but the beds are hard and the rooms ugly. The sliding doors in other rooms above and below made our room sound like a railroad terminal and shake like an earthquake.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It was clean,the staff was friendly,it is centrally located to everything we wanted to do on our trip. The breakfast was good, the room a little small,but you could take a tray to your room.

Convinent but noisy!
Location was convinent, website photos were a bit misleading. Free breakfast was average but noise level was terrible, we could hear traffic all night long. We would have stayed a bit further off of such a main road if we had known the area better. We won't return.

Good location but......
The location was great. The staff was nice but...... Our key card didn't work to our room and we had to travel up and down stairs four times before the problem was fixed.....temporarily. Our toilet would not flush and repeated calls to get it fixed came to nothing. We were apologized to but were told that since the hotel was booked up there was no other room to transfer us to. Upon returning from dinner that night out key cards again didn't work which meant the up/down trek for the next 20 mins at midnight none the less before we could enter our room. The room was clean but the sheets refused to stay on the bed. Upon speaking to the manager at check out we were rewarded with a free nights stay at a later date but that's subject to availability. So I am just hoping that if we ever get a chance to redeem this voucher that the door works, the toilet flushes, and the sheets stay on the bed.

nice room, convenient location
The room was very clean, bed comfortable, good pillows. Everything in working order. Every room has a very nice balcony with my only complaint being there are no patio chairs at all! Strange. None on any balcony, so you can only enjoy it standing up:) Otherwise, all was good.

Clean rooms
Our only negative critque is the noise levels. You can hear the road noise and adjacent occupants in the rooms surrounding yours. We had a workman pounding on something in the next room that gave us a little earlier wake up call then we requested.
