The Best Western Yacht Harbor Hotel has views of San Diego Harbor and is close to the city's major attractions and business centers. The Best Western Yacht Harbor Hotel lobby has views of the hotel pool and the harbor, giving it a great atmosphere for meetings. The hotel fitness center includes elliptical machines, exercise bikes, weights and a treadmill. The pool and Jacuzzi are great for relaxing after touring the city or attending business meetings. The hotel has a business center, equipped with a printer and pc for the use of guests and there is also a flexible workspace for delegates using their own laptops.

Business trip

The hotel is really close to the airport. The hotel was quiet, I liked that they did not accept pets. I have allergies and it is hard to find a hotel that does not take pets. The beds were not very comfortable and the room was small, the furniture was clean but old. It was fine for a business trip, there was a very nice fitness center, a small outdoor pool and a continental breakfast from 6 am until 9 am and plenty of parking all were free. It was an OK hotel.

Nick's Restaurant. It is on the beach, you can sit on the deck outside or inside, all have a view of the ocean. We had dinner there and watched the sunset. Beautiful.

The Murrays

Nothing special here. Room was very small with a king bed that had a mattress that was worn out. Probably would not stay there again. The staff was friendly but the property needs to be updated.

Affordable and good location.

Adriana was great. We asked if we could move to a King size room, as they gave us 2 queens. They were accommodating although the bed was quite old and saggy. Our room keys kept getting demagnetized. Overall, it was decent, and there was nothing terrible, but not anything fantastic. We recommend Jimmy's Famous and Pizza Nova across the street.

FIRE HAZARD

I AM A FIRE INSPECTOR ON VACATION SO NATURALLY I NOTICE POSSIBLE FIRE CONCERNS. MY ROOM AND I THINKS ALL OF THE ROOMS HAVE A REFRIDGERATOR AND A MICROWAVE. MY WARNING TO ALL THAT MIGHT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IS THAT THE REFRIDGERATOR AND MICROWAVE ARE PLUGGED INTO A VERY CHEAP AND VERY SMALL EXTENSION CHORD. THIS TYPE OF CHORD WOULD BE USED TO POWER A LAMP NOT A LARGE APPLIANCE AND MOST DEFINATELY NOT TWO OF THEM. I HAVE SEEN MANY FIRES CAUSED BY A LOT SMALLER APPLIANCES PLUGGED INTO THESE KIND OF EXTENSION CHORDS. I NOTIFIED TWO SEPERATE FRONT DESK PEOPLE AT TWO DIFFERENT TIMES, BOTH EMPLOYEES TOLD ME A MANAGER WOULD BE CONTACTING ME. AS YOU CAN GUESS I WAS NEVER CONTACTED. IF YOU CHOOSE TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL I WOULD TAKE NOTICE TO ALL OF THE FIRE EXITS FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

GREAT VACATION.

Great location as a starting point for San Diego with a view. Not extravagant, just right for 2 down to earth, everyday folks. Plenty of good food within walking distance. Fishing too if you wish.

close to what we needed Marine corp depot..

close to everything wee wanted to see, The Marine corp base , Point Loma etc.
