First non-smoke room smells smoking. The replace room is much fresher. Price is fare. Very close to highway. (It takes 11 miles to San Diego zoo.) However the location is very good if you want to meet both premium outlets in San Diego. The Hotel is almost in the between of both outlets.

Good Place to Stay
Nice and friendly staff. Easy access to the highway and just a few minutes out of the city. Great place to stay if you're looking for a value.

Good if you have low standards
I was in the area for the Comic-Con convention. All San Diego hotels jack up their prices for this one weekend so keep in mind I payed "Primo" prices for a 3 Star hotel. The location was immediately off the 15 freeway which was convenient. The Continental Breakfast left much to be desired. Major Cons: -Toilet had "leftovers" in it from the previous user when we first arrived. - There was long black hairs on 3 of the "clean" towels. Even inside the mini-fridge freezer there were several long black hairs! -Comforter on the bed looked dirty. Major Pros: -The bed was very comfy along with the pillows. -There was a decent sized flat screen tv -Wi-Fi access -Mini-Fridge

Short drive from hotel
If you are heading to the SD convention center or the Gas Lamp District, parking is free at Qualcom Stadium (SD Chargers). And you can take the Red Line tram into town from there for a reasonable price for the weekend. It saves you time and money on trying to find parking down there. Traveling time on the tram is about 15 mins one way.

Almost like home
We were in San Diego for our Grandsons graduation from Marine Corps Boot Camp. Travel time was about 10 minutes from here to there. The room its self was comfortable and relaxing. As well, service was great. The continental breakfast was surprisingly good, with alot of choices. If there is a complaint, it would be the lack of TV channels when you're done for the night.

Short walk from hotel
There's Carl's Jr and Chin's within walking distance. Stay away from Carl's Jr. Two times they messed up both our orders. As well, the food isn't that great. Chin's, across the street next to the Holiday Inn, was very good and tasty. Price was really welcomed. For two of us, our bill was under $40. Did I say it was good food???

Just what I expected!
We headed to Miramar for the Airshow. When we arrived at the hotel the staff was very courteous and helpful. Our room was perfect and clean. We had requested a non-smoking room online and that's what we got when we arrived. The location is great when visiting the airshow.

nice place
It was a nice place... a bit overpriced but it was because Comicon was in town. The room was clean, had the amenities needed (safe, refrigerator, microwave), the bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. I would stay there again but I don't know if I'd pay as much as I did.
