Great Place, Great location and Service
The Management was very friendly and accommodating, The rooms were very clean and the location was very convenient for our stay. Close to beach, shopping and highway. We visited our Son a Marine at MCB Camp Pendleton, He is deploying to Afghanistan this thursday 3/24/2011. He actually recommended the hotel, having stayed there himself previously.

A very decent getaway place!

OK 2 star value in a pricy town. 5 cent cardboard croissants for breakfast, but the in-room fridge and microwave make up for it. What's great!!! The lovely sweet helpful managers! They went out of their way to make my stay go smoothly.

too small
The room was clean but the bathroom was so small. The sink area was not in the bathroom but right in the room so you bothered sleeping people if you got up and wanted to get dressed. The bathroom was way to small to dress in. The refer did not have any of the shelves so not much fit in it, also did not have freezer. The room had a refer and a micro but no place to make any food but the dresser next to it. The table was very small also. The place was way to small. The one good thing about the Travelodge was that it was close to the beach, but not walking distance as stated.

We did get take out from Sonny's Italian rest., it was the best we have ever had. Just a short drive down El Camino Real.
