Comfort Suites San Clemente Beach

This hotel was conveniently located just off the freeway, but wasn't noisy at all. The room was attractive and clean, and even had a little balcony that you could actually sit out on. It was basic, but nice. We used the pull-out sofa, and it was fine and comfy. I thought it was a decent price compared to other hotels in the area. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was friendly and we had good service. We had a great weekend!

If you are going to camp Pendleton, the location is perfect!(:

The hotel location was easy to find off of the freeway. The staff at check in was very friendly. The room itself was very roomy, nice and clean. The two bad things that we experienced was you can hear everything from conversations to people walking above you. It seemed that walls were paper thin. The breakfast would have been enjoyable if it would have been restocked so others can enjoy, because there were several kids in there eating and wasting food and it was not being controlled so many others didnt get a chance to taste anything. Other than that we would stay there again.

Hotel was close to beach. Nice rooms and comfortable beds. Room was very clean. Golf course and hiking behind the hotel.

The room was absolutely dirty...grime on the walls and the floor. I had to ask to change rooms only to get something barely better. The air conditioning was noisy and worked poorly. The pipes made noise at night and the lights in the bathroom were so dim, it was like being in a cave...and that's the second room that they moved me to after I complained of the dirt in the first. It's supposed to be a non-smoking hotel but the staff smokes so the smell is still there. The morning breafast was edible but not something to look forward to eating. I was only able to get a Internet connection once and when I asked the front desk about it, I was told to call an 800 number for customer service but the phone number was disconnected. When I told the front desk the number was disconnected, they told me they couldn't help that the room had no connection. It all didn't make sense. They gave incorrect information...informing I could rent a bike down the street. The particular bike shop I was directed to did not do rentals and never did. It was a bad experience and I will never stay at this hotel or for that matter a Comfort Suites Choice Hotel. If one is that bad, the others couldn't be any better. I've already informed my travel group at work to have them taken off the list of hotels to use.

The Comfort Inn Suites is located right down the street from the main town of San Clemente. It was close to everything from shopping, nite life and the beach. A great place to relax after a day in the sun.

STAFF WAS FRIENDLY, BUT HOTEL WAS MUGGY AND HOT IN LOBBY AND HALLWAYS. IT WAS QUIET AND HAD EASY ACCESS TO MAIN STREETS. WE LOVE SAN CLEMENTE AND WE WERE THERE FOR MY BIRTHDAY TO SPEND TIME AT THE BEACH. OVERALL IT WAS OKAY JUST NOT GREAT.

Hotel is close to Trestles, but is old, worn down and not even close to a "suite". A 3 foot high wall that extended 3 feet "separated" your bed from your couch. The couch did not have cushions that fit the couch! The room was pretty small and overall below par.
